After a successful first outing in 2024, WizKids is returning to Adepticon 2025 to run a weekend of exciting HeroClix and Star Trek: Into the Unknown events! Join us in Milwaukee, WI March 26-30. We are debuting three new winnable HeroClix promo figures, two new for-sale HeroClix exclusives, and offering a promotional ship mini to participants in Star Trek: Into the Unknown events! Compete for your chance to be crowned Adepticon 2025 HeroClix Champion or Adepticon 2025 Battle Royale Champion!

Adepticon 2025 HeroClix Team Sealed Championship
*Note on registration: only ONE player on each team needs to register for this event with their Adepticon badge. The $180 entry fee covers all 3 players.
Entry Fee: $180 per team of 3 ($60 per player)
Start Date/Time: Friday, March 28, 10:30am – 3:00pm

Format:
- Played in teams of 3
- Each team designates an “A” player, a “B” player, and a “C” player. Teams will play A player vs A player, B vs B, and so on. Player designations remain for the duration of the event
- Each team receives one Marvel HeroClix: Spider-Verse Booster Brick (12 boosters), from which they build three 300-point teams, assigning one to each player. Players play with the same team for the duration of the event.
- Tournament will be 3 rounds of Swiss pairing (meaning teams of similar win/loss record will be matched, and no one is eliminated based on win/loss record)
- Prizes are awarded in triplicate: one of each item for each member of the team!

- Battle Royales at Adepticon will be played with Marvel HeroClix: Spider-Verse boosters
- In addition to all the figures opened from boosters during the 4-player game, each Battle Royale prize-pool prize-pool will include 1 promo per player, determined at random from the following options (occurring at roughly equal frequency):

- DC HeroClix: DCeased Black Adam

Adepticon 2025 Battle Royale Champion
Individual player performance will be tracked from one Battle Royale to the next. On Sunday afternoon, March 30, the player with the most accrued points during Battle Royale side events will be crowned Adepticon 2025 Battle Royale Champion!
Points will be awarded for the following finishes (Ties will be first broken by Victory Points and then roll-off):
- 1st place – 6 points
- 2nd place – 4 points
- 3rd place – 2 points
- 4th place – 1 point
In the event of a 3-player table, points will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
Battle Royale Champion Prizes

- Super-Charged Sealed at Adepticon will be played with 2x Marvel HeroClix: Spider-Verse boosters and 1x Marvel HeroClix: Collector’s Trove booster
- Players build 400-point teams
- Unlike Battle Royale events, players keep the figures they open
- Events are run in ‘pods’ of 8 players (each pod functions as its own independent tournament)
- Each pod will be 3 rounds of Swiss pairing (meaning teams of similar win/loss record will be matched, and no one is eliminated based on win/loss record)
- Players with 3 wins and 0 losses after 3 rounds win 1x Marvel HeroClix: Collector’s Trove Retail Chase Booster
- Each Super-Charged Sealed prize-pool will include 1 promo per player, determined at random from the following options (occurring at roughly equal frequency):

HeroClix Learn-to-Play
- Entry Fee: $0!
- Come learn the world’s most popular superhero miniatures game! Sit down with a HeroClix Mastermind and learn the game in under an hour. All participants will receive one or more promotional figures to take home to begin their collection!
- HeroClix Learn-to-Play at Adepticon 2025 are Open Demos
- A ticket for an Open Demo allows you the flexibility to drop in during the allotted time and arrange a demo with the organizer. Tables will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Promos being given to HeroClix Learn-to-Play participants at Adepticon (at least one figure per ticket holder)
