Greetings HeroClix Fans,

Welcome to another exciting preview from the upcoming Marvel HeroClix: 15th Anniversary – What If? set! Today, we’re taking a look into two versions of The Man Without Fear, Daredevil!

HeroClix | Marvel HeroClix: What If? - Daredevil

The first version of Daredevil we’re looking at is a 50-point piece, with five clicks of life, and a range of five squares with one target. Daredevil carries only one special power, appearing on his first two clicks of damage, called Aide to Vice President Foggy. This power states that Daredevil can use Outwit. And, when he does, after actions resolve, he can use Perplex but only to target the same character. He also possesses the standard powers Charge, Leap/Climb, Precision Strike, Super Senses, Combat Reflexes, and Perplex.

Our second version of Daredevil is a bit different, called Daredevil, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. This version is a 60-point piece, with six clicks of life, and a range of six squares with one target. He also carries Improved Movement: Ignores Hindering Terrain, making Daredevil, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. a great choice to use on maps with a lot of stealth opportunities. He fits in naturally on both S.H.I.E.L.D. and Spy themed teams, and can make use of the S.H.I.E.L.D. team ability.

Daredevil, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. carries one trait, called Level 10 S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent. This power states that Daredevil, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. and friendly characters within 3 squares are considered adjacent to each other for the purposes of the S.H.I.E.L.D. team ability. That team ability, as a reminder, allows adjacent friendly characters to modify their range values by +1. Additionally, you can give characters with this TA a power action and choose an adjacent friendly character, with the chosen character modifying its damage value by +1 while adjacent to this character, and making ranged combat attacks this turn.

For powers, Daredevil, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. has a special power on the first three clicks of movement called Training and Tech, which allows him to use Running Shot, Sidestep, and Stealth. For standard powers, he bring Plasticity, Super Senses, Combat Reflexes, and Perplex to the table – he’s a well rounded swarm leader for a S.H.I.E.L.D. team and can really tilt the table in your favor.
