Trade Marketing Coordinator

Are you an outgoing sales marketer looking for an exciting opportunity to work for an industry leader in high-quality pre-painted miniatures and tabletop gaming? WizKids could be just the place for you. WizKids is looking for a talented Trade Marketing Coordinator to join our team!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work directly with sales, marketing and product teams.
  • Closely manage distributor and retail relations.
  • Manage new product solicitation creation and processes between Product Managers and WizKids distributors.
  • Initiate frequent discussions with distribution partners to review and improve sales based on existing data and metrics.
  • Design and implement retail programs (for example, how retailers should introduce or expand WizKids product in their stores).
  • Create and maintain up to date “buy lists” for retailers for all Wizkids product lines.
  • Organize and lead monthly online retailer meetings to provide them with new product offerings and updates to our current catalogue.
  • Provide cross channel retail trade support
  • Manage private retail Facebook groups.
  • Travel 40% (trade events, retailer/distributor visits etc.).
  • Works with the marketing team to create useful sales collateral for retail and distribution partners.
  • Other duties as requested.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience working as a Trade/Sales Marketer.
  • Experience with product distribution and public speaking is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (sales/marketing concentrations preferred).
  • Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Proactive about responsibilities and approaches them with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, public speaking and project management skills.
  • Use of good judgment and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pluses:

  • Gamer/Tabletop game knowledge is preferable.
  • Having a strong passion for pop culture, including comic books and gaming.

 Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (sales/marketing concentrations preferred).
