There will be no changes to the WKPPLA in Q3 2016. The WizKids Promotional Product Licensing Agreement (WKPPLA) is a legally binding contract that details all of the authorized uses and procedures for WizKids Organized Play (OP) materials. All stores running WizKids OP events must sign the WKPPLA before being allowed to purchase and use OP products.
We were recently notified by one of our shipping agencies that we were one of the customers who had containers aboard a train that was involved in a derailment on June 28, near Panhandle, TX. The product on the train included the Marvel HeroClix: The Superior Foes of Spider-Man set intended for our upcoming Pre-Release events. Because of this, we are unable to fulfill orders for this event and must cancel until further notice.

We previously announced that the WizKids 2016 Regional Championships for HeroClix and Dice Masters are coming to Salt Lake Gaming Con, June 2nd-4th, 2016. Attendees will be able to purchase two of the 2016 HeroClix Convention Exclusives and participate in the tournaments for a chance to earn a 2016 HeroClix or Dice Masters National Championship Qualification, but that’s not all.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the WizKids Open scheduled for May 14th-15th, 2016 at Battleground Games in Modesto, CA will be moved to Great Escape Games in Sacramento, CA for the same dates. If you were pre-registered for the event at Battleground Games, it will not be automatically transferred to Great Escape Games, please contact Battleground Games at 209-522-0511 for a refund.
