Product Manager – Tabletop Games

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Manager to join the Games Team. In this position, you will create and drive the product development process from concept through production. This role is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of a product development plan to ensure all key milestones are achieved. The successful Product Manager works collaboratively with the project management team, marketing team and operations. This position reports to the Executive Producer of Games.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Executes the product development plan of the Games Category to achieve business goals.
• Responsible for the product development process from ideation to production.
• Conducts market research and possesses a high awareness of market trends.
• Reviews factory quotes and analyses margins to determine product viability.
• Leads pricing negotiations and generates multiple options and solutions.
• Partners proactively and collaboratively to meet margin and inventory goals.
• Maintains accountability for database accuracy, catalogs and communication.
• Troubleshoots product quality and testing issues.

Skills Required

• Extensive experience in the product development lifecycle is required.
• A robust business and financial acumen, with a strong understanding of gross margin.
• A demonstrated ability using analytics for data-driven decision making.
• Fluent in data management and project management strategies and techniques.
• Ability to see and understand our customer’s perspective when making decisions.
• A demonstrated talent for creative problem-solving and removing obstacles.
• A comprehensive understanding of the impact of decisions.
• Knowledgeable of key relationships relevant to achieving short and long-range objectives.
• Challenges the status quo with a knack for innovative solutions.
• A take-charge leadership style whose knowledge and experience can advance business forward toward achieving new heights.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or institution
• 5-7 years of Product Development experience
• Experience in a Product Management or Merchandising preferred
• Advanced Excel & Microsoft Office skills
