Jr. Marketing Manager at WizKids

Hillside, NJ / Cary, NC

WizKids is looking for a Jr. Marketing Manager to join our quickly growing team and keep our marketing programs rolling out! We are looking for a candidate that is focused on attention to detail, relationship building and can expand our voice in reach in all our product lines. Responsibilities Include:

• Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this position will create and carry out one of a kind marketing programs for WizKids product lines.
• Work directly with sales, senior management, and product teams to drive awareness and consumer engagement for our products and programs.
• Cultivate new marketing partnerships as well and leading communication with existing partners on ongoing marketing activities.
• Highlighting marketing programs that are under or overperforming as well as understanding and supporting the areas of the business that will make the greatest impact.
• Work with the world’s leading brands! Partner with our key licensors to develop and grow customized programs.
• Manage individualized campaigns to ensure our products are getting the attention they deserve and more.
• Other duties and responsibilities as needed depending on experience level and growth in the job of the candidate.

Ideal Requirements:

• An ideal candidate is one that is ready to propel their career by first diving in and learning the day to day process and seeking out potential improvements.
• The candidate will be able to creatively open new opportunities while keeping up on the day to day programs already established.
• 2-5 years of existing marketing experience. While a new graduate will be considered please come prepared with specific examples of marketing activities you have been a part of.
• Knowledge and experience with WizKids games and products is preferred.
• Having a strong passion for pop culture, including comic books and gaming preferred.
• Proactive about responsibilities and approaches them with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Ability to manage and flex to the various opportunities that present themselves.
• Use of good judgment and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Great computer skills.
• Microsoft Office Suite is a required (including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects or Final Cut Pro are all pluses, but not required.
• Knowledge of Shopify and online retail is a plus.

Education: BA/BS degree in related field or equivalent experience
