Greetings WizKids Retailers,
During development of the Battle Royale functionality in the WIN for the Marvel HeroClix Civil War Storyline OP program, we decided to take a deeper look at how our system runs events and the underlying software in an effort to better adapt the system to our ever-changing needs. Unfortunately, because of this change in scope the project is taking longer than anticipated and we were left with two choices: Release the software in its unfinished state with bugs (which is not something we’re willing to do), or the option we’re proceeding with, using the manual process to run the entirety of the Marvel HeroClix Civil War Storyline OP program.
We understand this is frustrating, and we thought we had budgeted sufficient time to accomplish the goals we set out. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes to you and your staff, and we assure you that not reporting your events in the WIN will not be held against you for this Storyline Program. Please know that we’re working hard to get our new system up and running, but we want to ensure that our users will be using a system that is bug-free and much easier to navigate and use. In the meantime, be on the lookout for updates and news regarding the new tournament system and thank you for your understanding and support.
