Why was Cosmic Cube banned?

If you’ve been tracking tournament results or playing in Modern constructed events yourself, you’ve probably seen Cosmic Cube warp the metagame. Some of the options to counter Cosmic Cube will be rotating out, and removing Cosmic Cube from the format that’s going to exist is going to make more teams and strategies interesting in viable without crippling anything that Cosmic Cube was bolstering.
