This October Star Trek: Attack Wing Organized Play Events will feature a series of ten blind reinforcement boosters to be used during events held over the next year. To prepare you for what you will find inside these blind boosters, let’s take an in-depth look at the ships, continuing with the Kazon Nistrim-Culluh.

The Nistrim sect was once of the most powerful of all the Kazon. Now they seek to recapture their former glory with the Nistrim-Culluh. A Predator class ship, the Nistrim-Culluh has very strong war-like statistics. Losing one shield and one Weapon slot compared to a generic Predator class, it gains one Tech slot and one Crew slot. The special ability for this ship allows you to add +1 die (max +2) for each friendly ship within Range 1 of your ship when you are attacking a ship at Range 3. Culluh, the egotistical Captain of this ship is a skill level 6 with an Elite Talent Upgrade slot. Culluh allows you to roll +1 defense die for every Tech Upgrade deployed to your ship (max +2). Ambition is the Elite Talent Upgrade in this pack and it perfectly describes the Kazon. When attacking a ship that has more upgrades assigned to it, you may discard this card to either gain +2 attack dice or re-roll any number of attack dice. Known for their violent tendencies, the Kazon Nistrim-Culluh comes to battle with all guns (phasers) blazing!

To keep things balanced, most ships in the blind reinforcement booster packs come with one Elite Talent, one Crew Upgrade, one Tech Upgrade and one Weapon Upgrade. The Crew Upgrade in this pack is Rulat, the Kazon warrior. When attacking or defending, you may discard Rulat to re-roll any number of your dice. Kazon aggression will make sure no one walks away unharmed. The Kazon also have a strong desire to acquire new technology from other races to increase their power. Stolen Technology is a Tech Upgrade that would make even the Ferengi jealous. As an action you may discard Stolen Technology to perform the action listed on a non-Borg Tech Upgrade deployed to an opposing ship within Range 1-3. Finally, the Weapon Upgrade in this pack is Photonic Charges. You may disable Photonic Charges to attack with 4 dice at Range 1; if you inflict at least 1 damage place an Auxiliary Token next to the target ship. With these upgrades, the Kazon deliver both powerful attacks and cunning ways to deny your opponent’s actions making them a true force to be reckoned with in this quadrant of space.

Players will enjoy this blind booster, because it expands on the Kazon Faction with new upgrades and provides powerful options for fleet building in the future. Specifically, players who are looking for a strong war ship will want to add the

Nistrim-Culluh to their collection. The Kazon are seeking to restore the former glory of the Nistrim Sect and based on the contents of this blind booster, it seem as if there are few who will be able to stand in their way.
