Greetings HeroClix Fans!<\/p>\n

We are pleased to announce the upcoming\u00a0Marvel HeroClix: Avengers\/Defenders War <\/strong><\/a>set, releasing\u00a0in May with Pre-Release Events<\/a> starting in April! To kick off previews of the set, we have a character that isn\u2019t hard to spot in a crowd, thanks to the American flag tattooed to his face!\u00a0 A former Weapon Plus program test subject, he\u2019s clashed with the likes of Daredevil, Wolverine, and Captain America.\u00a0 Making his HeroClix debut, we bring you the deranged, dangerous, and highly aggressive supervillain known as Nuke<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<\/div>

\"Marvel<\/a><\/span><\/div>

Nuke<\/strong> has a point value of 70 and the standard speed, attack, defense, and damage symbols.\u00a0 He also can shoot one target up to five squares away.\u00a0 Nuke<\/strong>\u2019s dial is six clicks deep and his power layout makes him a dangerous foe at range or up close.\u00a0 Aside from his tattooed face, Nuke<\/strong>\u2019s most notable characteristic is his consumption of medications that boost his aggression, calm him down, or keep him balanced.\u00a0 This is captured on Nuke<\/strong>\u2019s dial as a trait called Red, White, and Blue Pills,<\/em> which lets him choose a pill type at the beginning of your turn.\u00a0 If Nuke<\/strong> chooses the Red Pill<\/em>, he can use Battle Fury<\/em> for the turn and modifies his attack value by +1.\u00a0 If he chooses the White Pill<\/em>, Nuke<\/strong> can be healed 1 click but he can\u2019t attack this turn. \u00a0Lastly, if Nuke<\/strong> chooses the Blue Pill,<\/em> he can use Precision Strike<\/em> this turn.<\/p>\n

Moving to Nuke<\/strong>\u2019s dial, he begins as a ranged attacker with Running Shot<\/em> and Energy Explosion<\/em>.\u00a0 Mid-dial, he switches to close attacks by picking up Charge<\/em> and Super Strength<\/em>.\u00a0 Defensively, Nuke<\/strong> initially can soak up some damage by using Toughness<\/em>.\u00a0 On the back half of his dial, he becomes harder to hit with close attacks, thanks to Combat Reflexes<\/em>.\u00a0 Nuke<\/strong>\u2019s base combat values stay fairly steady and don\u2019t taper off too quickly.<\/p>\n

If you wish to include Nuke<\/strong> on a themed team, he has the Thunderbolts<\/em> and Soldier<\/em> keywords as options.\u00a0 However, Nuke<\/strong>\u2019s power layout, steady set of combat values, and his Red, White, and Blue Pills<\/em> trait make him a viable choice for any team as a secondary attacker.<\/p>\n
