Greetings, HeroClix fans, and welcome to another exciting preview from the upcoming Marvel HeroClix: Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2<\/strong>\u00a0movie set! Today we\u2019re looking at the leader of the team, the incomparable Peter Quill \u2013 aka, Star-Lord!<\/strong><\/p>\n

…who?<\/em><\/p>\n

Star-Lord<\/strong>, man! Come on!<\/p>\n

Star-Lord<\/strong> is an indomitable<\/em> 90-point piece that comes in with six clicks of life, as well as a range of six squares with two targets. He also carries Improved Targeting \u2013 Ignores Hindering Terrain<\/em>. He can be played on Guardians of the Galaxy, Ravagers, Spartoi, <\/em>and Cosmic<\/em> themed teams. He\u2019s a run-and-gun character who is also a flier<\/em>, meaning that he can get around elevated and hindering terrain, ignore outdoor blocking terrain, and<\/em> move through squares adjacent to or occupied by opposing characters, while still needing to break away normally.<\/p>\n

Star-Lord<\/strong> begins with a trait called You Know Who We Are!<\/em> This trait states that if Star-Lord <\/strong>is the first character to attack an opposing character on this turn, that action does not count against your action total. He also has a special power appearing on his first four clicks of attack called Element Guns<\/em>, which states that Star-Lord<\/strong> can use both Energy Explosion <\/em>and Precision Strike<\/em>. Additionally, all of his attacks cause knock back.<\/p>\n

Beyond those special abilities, Star-Lord<\/strong> also has a bevy of standard powers to use and choose from as he moves through his dial, including Hypersonic Speed, Running Shot, Toughness, Super Senses, Leadership, Shape Change, <\/em>and Perplex<\/em>. He also has two clicks of Earthbound\/Neutralized<\/em> at the end of his dial, so be aware and take precautions if possible!<\/p>\n
