We\u2019re just weeks away from the April release of our Marvel HeroClix: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2<\/strong> Movie Gravity Feed<\/strong> so today we turn the spotlight to the team member with a thirst for vengeance, an affinity for knives, and a difficulty grasping the concept of metaphors.\u00a0 Let\u2019s all give a hand (figuratively, not literally) to Drax<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

\"Marvel<\/a><\/span><\/div>

Vengeance drives\u00a0Drax<\/strong>, thus he begins play with a trait called\u00a0The Path of Vengeance,<\/em>\u00a0which lets him use the Colossal Stamina ability to take a non-free action when he has two action tokens \u2013 but with the penalty of being dealt 1 unavoidable damage after actions.\u00a0 Additionally,\u00a0The Path of Vengeance<\/em>\u00a0boosts\u00a0Drax<\/strong>\u2019s combat values by +1 for each action token on him, and when he clears action tokens he may heal 1 click.<\/p>\n

Drax<\/strong>\u2019s dial features one special power in his damage slot called\u00a0I Fear No Enemy<\/em>, which lets him use\u00a0Battle Fury<\/em>\u00a0if an opposing character is within line of fire.\u00a0 Although\u00a0Battle Fury<\/em>\u00a0lets\u00a0Drax<\/strong>\u00a0ignore\u00a0Shape Change<\/em>\u00a0and makes him exempt from being targeted by\u00a0Incapacitate<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0Mind Control<\/em>, it also prevents him from being carried so make sure any foes aren\u2019t within line of fire if you need to carry him away to safety or for better positioning.<\/p>\n

I Fear No Enemy<\/em>\u00a0starts on the second click of\u00a0Drax<\/strong>\u2019s dial, which also features the combination of\u00a0Charge<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Blades\/Claws\/Fangs<\/em>.\u00a0 Defensively,\u00a0Drax<\/strong>\u00a0has\u00a0Toughness<\/em>\u00a0to absorb some damage dealt to him.\u00a0 On his last two clicks,\u00a0Drax<\/strong>\u00a0stands his ground and drops\u00a0Charge<\/em>\u00a0in favor of\u00a0Flurry<\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0Drax<\/strong>\u2019s opening click features\u00a0Sidestep<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Invincible<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Drax<\/strong>\u00a0has a point value of 75 and has the standard speed, attack, and damage symbols.\u00a0 He also has the Indomitable<\/em> defense symbol, so don\u2019t worry about pushing him.\u00a0\u00a0Drax<\/strong>\u00a0is a close attacker whose damage potential makes him a great addition to teams built around his three keywords (Guardians of the Galaxy<\/em>,\u00a0Brute<\/em>, and\u00a0Warrior<\/em>) or any force that you see fit to include him.<\/p>\n
