We hope you\u2019ve enjoyed the plentiful ‘Clix-ucopia of offerings from the\u00a0Marvel HeroClix: Deadpool &\u00a0X-Force<\/strong><\/a> set since its release.\u00a0 But wait, there\u2019s more!\u00a0 While you are basking in the afterglow, The Merc with the Mouth is dropping one more golden nugget:\u00a0 The Merc$ for\u00a0Money Fast Forces<\/strong>\u00a0Pack<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

After Deadpool <\/strong>caught the mercenary Solo<\/strong> impersonating him to fetch a higher pay rate, he saw an opportunity to revolutionize the soldier of fortune business.\u00a0 He gathered a team of similarly skilled and\/or insane freelancers to wear costumes identical to his own and call themselves the Heroes for Hire<\/strong>.\u00a0 However, they soon got a cease and desist order issued from the Law Offices of Nelson & Murdock<\/strong> on behalf of Luke Cage and were forced to change their name.\u00a0 Thus the Merc$ for Money<\/strong> were born!\u00a0 Alliteration is important for brand recognition in the hero biz.\u00a0 Eventually they had taken to wearing color coded uniforms to distinguish themselves from yet another impersonator, (and probably to make it less confusing for Wade to tell his teammates apart while he skimmed from their paychecks).\u00a0 Speaking of the illustrious team leader and small business proprietor\/job creator extraordinaire\u2026.<\/p>\n<\/div>

\"Marvel<\/a><\/span><\/div>

Every figure in this fast forces comes in at 50 points but Deadpool<\/strong> has two point values, 80 points and 50 points, that you can choose from for your team building enjoyment.\u00a0 At 50 points he has 5 clicks of life with a dial that does better if you can stay at range (6 range, in this case) with Sidestep<\/em>, Penetrating\/Psychic Blast<\/em>, Energy Shield\/Deflection<\/em>, and Enhancement<\/em>.\u00a0 If he does get too close and gets dinged in the head, he has three clicks of Plasticity<\/em> to make his getaway easier so he can make use of his special power on defense,\u00a0Does Everyone On This Team Have A Healing Factor?,<\/em> that lets him use Toughness<\/em> and Regeneration <\/em>with a minimum result of one click of healing.\u00a0 He also has Leadership<\/em> on these clicks so his attempts at running and healing shouldn\u2019t take away from the effectiveness of the rest of your team.\u00a0 At 80 points,\u00a0Deadpool <\/strong>starts off jumping right into the action with Charge<\/em>, Blades\/Claws\/Fangs<\/em>, Combat Reflexes<\/em>, and his special power on damage Color-Coordinated <\/em>that lets him use Outwit<\/em> but only to counter [RED] powers (Flurry<\/em>, Blades\/Claws\/Fangs<\/em>, Super Senses<\/em>, and Ranged Combat Expert<\/em>).\u00a0 At whatever point value you play\u00a0Deadpool<\/strong> at, he has the Deadpool Corps<\/em> and Heroes For Hire <\/em>keywords, Indomitable <\/em>for maximum effort and his trait Mercs for Money<\/em> that gives him a click of healing each time a friendly character with the Heroes For Hire <\/em>keyword KO\u2019s an opposing character.\u00a0 So if Deadpool<\/strong> is wearing the red suit, let\u2019s ride the rainbow and see who is wearing orange this season.<\/p>\n<\/div>

\"Marvel<\/a><\/span><\/div>

It\u2019s Stingray<\/strong>!\u00a0 The only flight-capable member of the team, Stingray<\/strong> has a trait Please Remember To Leave The Window Open<\/em> that lets him carry two characters when he uses the Carry<\/em> ability granted by his Fligh<\/em>t symbol, but he cannot change elevation when he does.\u00a0 For 50 points, you get 5 clicks for a very mobile, and surprising powerhouse; 5 range, Fight<\/em> symbol with 10 movement and Sidestep<\/em>, Pulsewave<\/em>, defense powers stepping down in order from Invulnerability<\/em>, Toughness<\/em>, and Energy Shield\/Deflection<\/em>, his Color-Coordinated<\/em> special defense power granting him Outwit <\/em>but only to counter [ORANGE] powers; like Leap\/Climb<\/em>, Energy Explosion<\/em>, Toughness<\/em>, and Battle Fury<\/em>, and then onto helping his teammates with Enhancement<\/em>.\u00a0 He also starts with a damage value of 3 while he has Pulsewave<\/em>.\u00a0 He has the Heroes For Hire<\/em>, Initiative<\/em>, Armor<\/em>, Scientist<\/em>, and Spy <\/em>keywords.\u00a0 Despite collecting a paycheck from Deadpool,<\/strong> he was also keeping an eye on his more deranged teammates for Captain America<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

So Red, Orange, then Yellow\u2026.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Concluding today\u2019s feature is Slapstick<\/strong>!\u00a0 What a nasty piece for 50 points, and a great addition to the Heroes For Hire<\/em>, Initiative<\/em>, and New Warriors<\/em> keyword lineups too.\u00a0 For 3 of his 6 clicks of life this walking cartoon opens up with Willpower<\/em>, Precision Strike<\/em>, the Color-Coordinated <\/em>special on damage that gives him Outwit<\/em> but only to counter [YELLOW] powers (Phasing\/Teleport<\/em>, Pulsewave,<\/em> Defend<\/em>, and Support<\/em> for those keeping track) and another special power on movement called Cartoon Physics <\/em>that lets you choose a standard speed power for Slapstick<\/strong> to use until your next turn.\u00a0 Whether you want to choose Plasticity<\/em> to keep someone stuck in cartoony mud or Hypersonic Speed <\/em>or Flurry<\/em> to get some good mallet swings in, or Mind Control <\/em>to cause some animated hallucinations; Slapstick<\/strong> is your \u2018toon.\u00a0 For his last three clicks,\u00a0Slapstick <\/strong>needs to redraw himself with his special power on defense Does Everyone On This Team Have A Healing Factor?<\/em> letting him use Toughness <\/em>and Regeneration<\/em> with a minimum of one click of healing in addition to Shape Change<\/em> to keep him safe while he heals.<\/p>\n
