Greetings HeroClix Fans!<\/p>\n

Welcome back for another exciting preview for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles HeroClix<\/strong>:\u00a0 Shredder\u2019s Return <\/strong>set!\u00a0 Today we continue with the Fast Forces Pack and reveal the other three figures from the 1987 animated TV series, Leonardo<\/strong>, Bebop<\/strong>, and Rocksteady!<\/strong><\/p>\n

In our previous article we saw how the other three turtles are focused on teamwork with their TMNT<\/em>, TMNT Ally<\/em>, Animal,<\/em> and Martial Artist<\/em> keywords; their shared Aquatic <\/em>movement symbols, and traits that give each other combat value boosts, all at 50 points each.\u00a0 Let\u2019s round out the team with the head honcho himself, Leonardo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Leonardo<\/strong> is The Turtle With The Plan <\/em>boosting the attack values of other adjacent characters named Donatello<\/strong>, Michelangelo<\/strong>, or Raphael<\/strong> by +1 as a Unique Modifier<\/u><\/em> with this trait (whether those characters are friendly or opposing, remember).\u00a0 Leonardo <\/strong>doesn\u2019t mess around; he is all about getting up close to put his dual katana blades to work.\u00a0 He angles for the best attack pose with Sidestep<\/em>, coaxes his allies into taking extra actions with Leadership<\/em>, and doesn\u2019t care that he only has a damage value of 1 because he is swinging his 11 attack value with Blades\/Claws\/Fangs<\/em>!\u00a0 After he works up a sweat cutting some Foot Clan<\/strong> grunts to pieces, he gets Charge<\/em>, Willpower<\/em>, and Exploit Weakness<\/em> as his attack, damage, and defense values increase.<\/p>\n

If we put all four of the Turtles in this Fast Forces Pack together and want to play them as a coherent squad, what we have is a numbers game.\u00a0 All four are 50 points each, totaling 200 points.\u00a0 For a standard 300 point Modern Age<\/em> game they\u2019ll need to find some other pieces to help out, but just within 200 they are a capable force.\u00a0 Keeping them all together to get the most out of their combat value boosting traits you have everyone with at least an 11 attack, Raphael <\/strong>boosted up to a 12, everyone sporting an 18 or better defense in close combat, Michelangelo <\/strong>and Donatello <\/strong>with 3 damage, and everyone able to move at least 9 squares with Raphael<\/strong> being able to Charge <\/em>5 squares out.\u00a0 Don\u2019t forget you have access to several support powers with this crew thanks to Michelangelo\u2019s<\/strong> Perplex<\/em>, Leonardo\u2019s <\/strong>Leadership,<\/em> and Donatello\u2019s <\/strong>Outwit <\/em>and Support<\/em>.\u00a0 They are ready to fight and make Master Splinter<\/strong> proud.<\/p>\n

Wait, what\u2019s this?\u00a0 We have some interlopers snooping around the Central Park Zoo looking to pick a fight with the Turtles; it\u2019s gang members Bebop<\/strong> and Rocksteady<\/strong> and it seems they\u2019ve let some of the wildlife loose on the field!<\/p>\n<\/div>

At 40 points each,\u00a0Bebop <\/strong>and Rocksteady <\/strong>make perfect low level thugs whether they are with the Foot Clan<\/em> or the Purple Dragons <\/em>or just being rowdy party Animals<\/em>.\u00a0 The purple mohawked and bespectacled Bebop <\/strong>keeps his sidearm ready with a range value of 4, Running Shot<\/em>, and Energy Shield\/Deflection<\/em>.\u00a0 When he is all out of ammo he picks up his crowbar and goes berserk with Sidestep<\/em>, Combat Reflexes<\/em>, and Battle Fury<\/em>.\u00a0 That\u2019s not all he has up his short sleeves though.\u00a0 His trait, What\u2019s This Mutagen Stuff Do Again, Boss? <\/em>\u00a0lets Bebop<\/strong> start the game with a Warthog<\/strong> bystander token in play next to him and when the opponent KO\u2019s the Warthog <\/strong>with an attack this Bebop <\/strong>increases all of his combat values by +1 and can use the Warthog\u2019s<\/strong> powers; Flurry<\/em>, Blades\/Claws\/Fangs<\/em>, and Toughness<\/em>!<\/p>\n<\/div>

Rocksteady<\/strong> is a little more consistent than his quick tempered friend with a full dial of Sidestep<\/em> and Toughness<\/em> and a smattering of Close Combat Expert<\/em> once he gets warmed up.\u00a0 He too wants to know What\u2019s This Mutagen Stuff Do Again, Boss?<\/em> and starts the game with a Rhinoceros<\/strong> bystander token placed adjacent to him.\u00a0 If the Rhino is KO\u2019d by an opponent\u2019s attack,\u00a0Rocksteady <\/strong>also gets an increase in his combat values by +1 and gains the Rhinoceros\u2019 <\/strong>Charge<\/em> and Invulnerability<\/em>.<\/p>\n

If you play the zookeeper angle right and make enough of a nuisance out of the Warthog<\/strong> and Rhinoceros<\/strong> bystanders that the opponent is willing to attack and KO them before going after Bebop<\/strong> or Rocksteady<\/strong> then you\u2019ve really put them in a hairy situation!<\/p>\n
