Greetings HeroClix Fans!<\/p>\n

Welcome back for another exciting preview for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles HeroClix<\/strong>:\u00a0 Shredder\u2019s Return <\/strong>set!\u00a0 Today we crack open the Fast Forces Pack and look at the first three of six figures inside from the 1987 animated TV series, Raphael<\/strong>, Michelangelo<\/strong>, and Donatello<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The purpose of Fast Forces Packs is so that anybody who wants to play HeroClix<\/strong>, weather they are a seasoned tournament veteran or are just picking up the dice for the first time, can build a team and be ready to play right out of the box.\u00a0 The Turtles especially make team building a snap as they all have the TMNT<\/em>, TMNT Ally<\/em>, Animal<\/em>, and Martial Artist <\/em>keywords and come in at 50 points each.\u00a0 You can play a 200 point game with all four Turtles against a horde of Foot Clan <\/strong>goons or Mousers<\/strong> or they could square off against a larger foe like Kraang<\/strong>.\u00a0 Also, it\u2019s easy to find another 100 points of TMNT Allies to pad them out for a regulation 300 point Modern Age game.<\/p>\n

So diving below the streets of New York City, into the murky sewers and abandoned subway tunnels, let\u2019s meet our amphibious friends (Aqautic <\/em>movement symbols for all!).<\/p>\n<\/div>

First up is Raphael<\/strong>.\u00a0 We see right away he has some Anger Issues\u00a0<\/em>that, as a trait, boosts the damage value on any adjacent characters named Donatello<\/strong>, Leonardo<\/strong>, or Michelangelo<\/strong> by +1.\u00a0 Note this does NOT<\/em> specify \u2018friendly\u2019 characters so if Raphael <\/strong>is having a brother\u2019s quarrel with an opposing character that matches one of those names, he could find himself at a disadvantage.\u00a0 Also note this is a Unique Modifier<\/u> <\/em>so if you are playing multiple Raphaels<\/strong> or your opponent has one as well, the bonus is only applied once.\u00a0 Aside from helping his shell-brothers,\u00a0Raphael <\/strong>likes to get in close to put his paired sais to work with Charge<\/em> and Exploit Weakness <\/em>with some Combat Reflexes<\/em> to keep him safe while he pokes holes in the bad guys.\u00a0 However if the fight isn\u2019t going his way and he takes some hits, his frustration makes him even more dangerous with Flurry<\/em>, Blades\/Claws\/Fangs,<\/em> and Battle Fury<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Backing up his closest friends with Boundless Enthusiasm<\/em> is Michelango <\/strong>whose trait increases the speed values of adjacent characters named Donatello<\/strong>, Leonardo<\/strong>, and Raphael<\/strong> by +1.\u00a0 Michelango <\/strong>puts his distracting demeanor to work with Leap\/Climb<\/em> to find the best position on the field, Super Senses<\/em> to dodge attacks, and Perplex<\/em> to boost his bro\u2019s combat values or drop their foe\u2019s numbers. Once the fight gets serious though, he switches over to full fight mode with Charge<\/em>, Incapacitate<\/em>, Combat Reflexes<\/em>, and an increase in his damage value.\u00a0 Nobody is going to claim his slice without a fight!<\/p>\n<\/div>

Being the brains of the bunch makes Donatello<\/strong> Prudently Cautious<\/em>, a trait that increases the defense value of adjacent characters named Leonardo<\/strong>, Michelangelo<\/strong>, or Raphael<\/strong> by +1.\u00a0 Donatello<\/strong> doesn\u2019t so much need the defense boost himself with a natural 18 to start with, but he does have Stealth<\/em> and a range value of 2 to keep him from being sniped to easily with a stray shuriken while still\u00a0contributing to the fight when\u00a0hanging back a space or two.\u00a0 Quake<\/em> will also keep him from getting crowded out, but his three clicks of Outwit <\/em>are his shining feature.\u00a0 Once his cover is blown and he is all out of mental gymnastics, he fills his role as the team guardian with aplomb sporting Sidestep<\/em>, Energy Shield\/Deflection<\/em>, and Support<\/em> to administer first aid, or pizza, to his shellmates.<\/p>\n
