Greetings HeroClix Fans!<\/p>\n

We\u2019re just mere weeks away from the release of our third\u00a0Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles HeroClix<\/strong>\u00a0set,\u00a0Shredder\u2019s Return.\u00a0<\/strong>To kick off previews of the upcoming release, let\u2019s take a look at a few\u00a0characters\u00a0that\u00a0you may recognize from the previous sets.\u00a0\u00a0The first two\u00a0Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles HeroClix\u00a0<\/strong>sets\u00a0<\/strong>included members of the Foot Clan based on the 1984 Mirage Comics run and 1987 animated series.\u00a0 Today, we take a look at the various cybernetic\u00a0Foot Tech<\/strong>\u00a0from the 2003 animated series, which were created by Baxter Stockman as an improvement over the regular Foot ninja.<\/p>\n

All four versions of\u00a0Foot Tech<\/strong>\u00a0have a trait called\u00a0Invisibility Tech<\/em>\u00a0which lets you use a power action to place an Invisibility token on their character cards.\u00a0 If there\u2019s an Invisibility token on the\u00a0Foot Tech<\/strong>\u2019s card, it can\u2019t be targeted by non-adjacent opposing characters and gains a +2 boost to its defense value.\u00a0 The Invisibility token is removed when\u00a0Foot Tech<\/strong>\u00a0attacks or is attacked.\u00a0 Each version has a point value of 35 and can shoot opposing characters within range and line of fire, even foes in adjacent squares, through their\u00a0Improved Targeting<\/em>\u00a0ability.<\/p>\n

Moving on to the individual versions, the\u00a0Foot Tech (Katar)<\/strong>\u00a0differs from its brothers thanks to its\u00a0Katar, Penetrating Dagger<\/em>\u00a0special power, which lets it use\u00a0Blades\/Claws\/Fangs<\/em>.\u00a0 Additionally,\u00a0Foot Tech (Katar)<\/strong>deals penetrating damage if it occupies hindering terrain when it makes a close attack.\u00a0\u00a0Foot Tech (Katar)<\/strong>\u00a0is a fairly mobile attacker, which starts its dial with\u00a0Charge<\/em>\u00a0and ends with\u00a0Sidestep<\/em>.\u00a0 It can also shoot one target up to two squares away.\u00a0 Defensively,\u00a0Foot Tech (Katar)<\/strong>\u00a0can soak up some damage dealt to its cybernetic armor, thanks to an opening click of\u00a0Toughness<\/em>.\u00a0 It then switches to\u00a0Super Senses<\/em>\u00a0to potentially evade attacks\u00a0and finally\u00a0has\u00a0Enhancement<\/em>\u00a0to help its teammates dish out more damage when they shoot.<\/p>\n

While\u00a0Foot Tech (Katar)<\/strong>\u00a0starts as a close attacker,\u00a0Foot Tech (3-Segment Staff)<\/strong>\u00a0opens with a click of\u00a0Running Shot<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Energy Explosion<\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0Foot Tech (3-Segment Staff)<\/strong>\u2019s last two clicks are similar to\u00a0Foot Tech (Katar)<\/strong>\u00a0but it also has a special power called\u00a0Three-Segment Staff<\/em>\u00a0which lets you take a power action to make a close attack against up to three opposing characters.\u00a0 Hit characters are then dealt 1 damage and given an action token.\u00a0\u00a0Foot Tech (3-Segment Staff)<\/strong>\u00a0can also shoot one target up to three squares away.<\/p>\n

Like\u00a0Foot Tech (3-Segment Staff)<\/strong>,\u00a0Running Shot<\/em>\u00a0appears on\u00a0Foot Tech (Shuriken)<\/strong>\u2019s opening click but it instead can shoot a target up to five squares away.\u00a0\u00a0Foot Tech (Shuriken)<\/strong>\u2019s special power,\u00a0Shuriken, Weapon of Distraction<\/em>, drops an opposing character\u2019s attack and defense by -1 until your next turn if it hits with a ranged attack.\u00a0 It\u2019s last two clicks are laid out like\u00a0Foot Tech (Katar)<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Foot Tech (3-Segment Staff)<\/strong>, with\u00a0Sidestep<\/em>,\u00a0Super Senses<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Enhancement<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Finally, the\u00a0Foot Tech (Twin Katanas)<\/strong>\u00a0has a similar range and dial layout to that of the\u00a0Foot Tech (Katar)<\/strong>, with one difference.\u00a0\u00a0Foot Tech (Twin Katanas)<\/strong>\u2019s special power,\u00a0Twin Katanas<\/em>, lets it use Blades\/Claws\/Fangs but when it does, roll 2d6 when and choose the result of one die.<\/p>\n

The four versions each\u00a0have the\u00a0Foot Clan<\/em>,\u00a0TMNT Villain<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Scientist<\/em>\u00a0keywords as options if you want to include them on themed teams.\u00a0 With their low point values, Improved Targeting ability, and\u00a0Invisibility Tech<\/em>trait,\u00a0Foot Tech<\/strong>\u00a0should find their way onto many forces.<\/p>\n
