Greetings HeroClix fans, and welcome to an exciting preview from the upcoming\u00a0Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles HeroClix:\u00a0Shredder\u2019s Return<\/strong>\u00a0set! Today, we\u2019re taking a look at the pre and post-mutation versions of half of one of the most well known villainous duos the Turtle\u2019s have faced,\u00a0Bebop!<\/strong><\/p>\n

In his pre-mutation form,\u00a0Bebop<\/strong>\u00a0is a 50-point piece, with 5 clicks of life, and\u00a0Improved Movement: Ignores Hindering Terrain<\/em>. Being a big fan of the tire iron, he\u00a0is a focused close combat piece, with the standard powers\u00a0Charge, Flurry, Precision Strike, Combat Reflexes, Toughness,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Exploit Weakness<\/em>\u00a0to his credit. Of course,\u00a0Bebop\u00a0<\/strong>wouldn\u2019t be the\u00a0Bebop\u00a0<\/strong>we all know and love without a way to mutate into his mohawked warthog self \u2013 and that\u2019s via his\u00a0Volunteer to Become Stronger<\/em>\u00a0trait. This trait states that when\u00a0Bebop<\/strong>\u00a0KO\u2019s an opposing character, rolls a critical hit, or is healed, after actions resolve, you place a Mutagen token on his card and you may roll a d6 that can\u2019t be rerolled. If the result plus the number of Mutagen tokens is 7 or more, replace this character with a character on the same click number named\u00a0Bebop<\/strong>\u00a0with a point value of 100 or less, then heal the character 1 click.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

In his mutated form,\u00a0Bebop\u00a0<\/strong>is a 70-point piece, with 9 clicks of life and a range of 4 squares. His dial is bisected by a defensive power called\u00a0Banished<\/em>\u00a0which appears on his sixth click of life, and transitions his play style drastically.\u00a0Banished<\/em>\u00a0is a stop click, and states that for the rest of the game,\u00a0Bebop\u00a0<\/strong>can\u2019t be healed. Before the stop click,\u00a0Bebop<\/strong>\u00a0is comfortable in either close or ranged combat situations, with the powers\u00a0Charge, Sidestep, Invulnerability, Toughness, Perplex, Ranged Combat Expert,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Enhancement.\u00a0<\/em>After the stop click comes into play, he\u00a0sees his damage output drop to zero, but in exchange for that he picks up\u00a0Support<\/em>\u00a0to go along with his already present\u00a0Sidestep\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Toughness.<\/em><\/p>\n
