Greetings HeroClix Fans!<\/p>\n

Today\u2019s exercise in team building and strategy takes the hashtag #squadgoals to a different level since our squad features some of the worst heroes ever from the\u00a0DC Comics HeroClix: The Joker\u2019s Wild!<\/strong>\u00a0set.\u00a0 From Belle Reve Penitentiary, make way for the Suicide Squad and its no-nonsense, tough-as-nails director,\u00a0Amanda Waller<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Today\u2019s theme team utilizes the\u00a0Suicide Squad<\/em>\u00a0keyword and comes in just under 300 points.\u00a0 Our Squad features four characters from\u00a0The Joker\u2019s Wild!<\/strong>\u00a0set \u2013 one of whom makes his HeroClix debut \u2013 as well as a character from the\u00a0DC HeroClix: The Rogues<\/strong>\u00a0Fast Forces Pack.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s today\u2019s lineup:<\/p>\n

Working covertly as the Suicide Squad\u2019s director,\u00a0Amanda Waller<\/strong>\u2019s dial features two appropriate standard powers,\u00a0Stealth<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Leadership<\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0Amanda Waller<\/strong>\u00a0also has the\u00a0Suicide Squad<\/em>\u00a0team ability, which lets a character using it potentially heal some damage when an adjacent teammate is KO\u2019d.\u00a0 However, the\u00a0Suicide Squad<\/em>\u00a0team ability gets an upgrade, thanks to\u00a0Amanda Waller<\/strong>\u2019s\u00a0There Is No Squad Without The Wall<\/em>\u00a0trait, which lets teammates using the team ability heal when a friendly character is KO\u2019d anywhere on the map.\u00a0 With her short dial and low combat values,\u00a0Amanda Waller<\/strong>\u2019s mission on this force is to stay out of trouble so that the rest of the team can benefit from\u00a0There Is No Squad Without The Wall<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Our next\u00a0Suicide Squad<\/em>\u00a0member is the team\u2019s field leader,\u00a0Colonel Rick Flag, Jr.<\/strong>, who makes his HeroClix debut in\u00a0The Joker\u2018s Wild!<\/strong>\u00a0set.\u00a0 Smart positioning is key for\u00a0Colonel Rick Flag, Jr.<\/strong>\u00a0since his trait,\u00a0Squad, On My Position<\/em>, boosts his defense value by 1 for each adjacent teammate that shares either his\u00a0Suicide Squad<\/em>or\u00a0Soldier<\/em>\u00a0keywords.\u00a0 To get\u00a0Colonel Rick Flag, Jr.<\/strong>\u00a0next to his teammates, his dial starts with a click of\u00a0Running Shot<\/em>\u00a0and ends with two clicks of\u00a0Sidestep<\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0Precision Strike<\/em>,\u00a0Willpower<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Ranged Combat Expert<\/em>round out the rest of\u00a0Colonel Rick Flag, Jr.<\/strong>\u2019s standard powers.<\/p>\n

Another mainstay of the Suicide Squad,\u00a0Bronze Tiger<\/strong>\u00a0is second-in-command to\u00a0Colonel Rick Flag, Jr.<\/strong>\u00a0and also served as the group\u2019s mission leader.\u00a0\u00a0Bronze Tiger<\/strong>\u00a0makes a long-awaited return to HeroClix, having last been seen in the\u00a0DC HeroClix: Justice League<\/strong>\u00a0set.<\/p>\n

\"DC<\/a><\/p>\n

As one of the DC Universe\u2019s most feared martial artists,\u00a0Bronze Tiger<\/strong>\u00a0is our squad\u2019s primary close attacker.\u00a0\u00a0Bronze Tiger<\/strong>\u2019s speed special power,\u00a0Master Martial Artist<\/em>, keeps him mobile with\u00a0Charge<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Sidestep<\/em>\u00a0while\u00a0Flurry<\/em>\u00a0lets him dish out an extra attack.\u00a0 If that\u2019s not enough,\u00a0Bronze Tiger<\/strong>\u2019s offensive powers also include\u00a0Precision Strike<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Blades\/Claws\/Fangs<\/em>, both of which are usable with\u00a0Master Martial Artist<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\"DC<\/a><\/p>\n

With\u00a0Bronze Tiger<\/strong>\u00a0as our squad\u2019s go-to close attacker,\u00a0Deadshot<\/strong>\u00a0comes in as the team\u2019s top ranged threat.\u00a0\u00a0Deadshot<\/strong>\u00a0has an optional trait called\u00a0Contract Killer<\/em>\u00a0that costs 5 points.\u00a0\u00a0Contract Killer<\/em>\u00a0lets you include\u00a0Deadshot<\/strong>\u00a0on a themed force if it also includes a character whose point value is greater than 80.\u00a0 If there isn\u2019t such a character,\u00a0Deadshot<\/strong>\u2019s combat values are modified by -1.\u00a0 For our squad,\u00a0Contract Killer<\/em>\u00a0won\u2019t be needed since none of his teammates have a point value greater than 75.<\/p>\n

Both\u00a0Amanda Waller<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Colonel Rick Flag, Jr.<\/strong>\u00a0can shoot one target up to five squares away, while\u00a0Deadshot<\/strong>\u2019s range is nine squares.\u00a0\u00a0Ranged Combat Expert<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Running Shot<\/em>\u00a0are\u00a0Deadshot<\/strong>\u2019s main offensive powers, with an opening click of\u00a0Stealth<\/em>\u00a0available as he prepares to set up his shot and two ending clicks of\u00a0Sidestep<\/em>\u00a0to run-and-gun or maneuver out of opposing lines of fire.\u00a0\u00a0Deadshot<\/strong>\u2019s mobility makes him a viable teammate for\u00a0Colonel Rick Flag, Jr.<\/strong>, who\u2019ll want to stay close to benefit defensively from his\u00a0Squad, On My Position<\/em>\u00a0trait.<\/p>\n

\"DC<\/a><\/p>\n

Our squad\u2019s last member,\u00a0Captain Boomerang<\/strong>, comes from the\u00a0DC HeroClix: The Rogues<\/strong>\u00a0Fast Forces pack and is our second ranged option.\u00a0\u00a0Captain Boomerang<\/strong>\u00a0boasts the ability to shoot three targets up to seven squares away and his power set features the potent opening combination of\u00a0Running Shot<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Energy Explosion<\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0Ranged Combat Expert<\/em>,\u00a0Precision Strike<\/em>\u00a0and some\u00a0Perplex<\/em>\u00a0sprinkled into the mix make\u00a0Captain Boomerang<\/strong>\u00a0a dangerous foe.<\/p>\n

All the members of our squad have the\u00a0Suicide Squad<\/em>\u00a0team ability, so it\u2019s imperative that you keep\u00a0Amanda Waller<\/strong>\u00a0alive to take advantage of her\u00a0There Is No Squad Without The Wall<\/em>\u00a0trait.\u00a0 Our squad has a good mix of ranged and close attackers but admittedly support powers aren\u2019t as plentiful.\u00a0 Then again, when you\u2019re playing the Suicide Squad, the only one who isn\u2019t expendable is The Wall, right?<\/p>\n
