Greetings HeroClix Fans!<\/p>\n

Today we are continuing the previews for the upcoming\u00a0DC Comics HeroClix:<\/strong>\u00a0The Joker\u2019s Wild<\/strong>! set, by looking at the some of the villainous figures in the\u00a0Batman and His Greatest Foes<\/strong>\u00a0Fast Forces Pack<\/strong>.\u00a0 Starting off with a riddle, what figure costs 50 points, has a five click dial, and a trait that grants the use of\u00a0Shape Change<\/em>?\u00a0 You don\u2019t have to be the world\u2019s greatest detective to deduce that it\u2019s\u00a0The Riddler<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

\"DC<\/a><\/p>\n

In addition to his economical point cost and\u00a0Riddle Me This<\/em>\u00a0trait,\u00a0The Riddler\u00a0<\/strong>has several other potent powers and abilities to properly vex any caped do-gooder.\u00a0 He starts with a special power on damage called\u00a0Riddle Me That,<\/em>\u00a0which gives him\u00a0a chance to lower an opponent\u2019s attack roll or damage dealt when he is attacked.\u00a0 When attacked, choose a number from 1-6 and if it shows up on one of the dice, reduce the attack total by 2, if the number shows up on both dice, then also decrease the damage by 2.\u00a0 On top of those traits, he also has\u00a0Super Senses<\/em>.\u00a0 With that much potential for evasion, your opponent might just think they can avoid him completely, but\u00a0The Riddler<\/strong>\u00a0has enough clever quips and tricks to ensure he cannot be ignored. He has\u00a0Leap\/Climb,<\/em>\u00a0which will get him into whatever position you need him in to make use of his 6 range value, accompanied by\u00a0Precision Strike<\/em>\u00a0and late dial\u00a0Perplex<\/em>.\u00a0 Take advantage of his teammates with\u00a0Arkham Asylum\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Gotham City<\/em>\u00a0keywords and his combat value-sharing\u00a0Batman Enemy\u00a0<\/em>team ability.\u00a0 This will be useful in Gotham City, where you need political connections if you want to stay out of Blackgate Prison, and nobody is more connected than our next figure from the Fast Forces Pack,\u00a0The Penguin<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

\"DC<\/a><\/p>\n

At 25 points,\u00a0The Penguin<\/strong>\u00a0lives almost entirely from his trait,\u00a0Dealmaker<\/em>.\u00a0 At the beginning of the game you place a\u00a0Loyalty<\/em>\u00a0token on another friendly character\u2019s card, modifying their range and attack values by +1.\u00a0 Any character adjacent to\u00a0The Penguin<\/strong>\u00a0can be given a free action to make a close attack targeting\u00a0The Penguin,<\/strong>\u00a0and if it hits you, place the\u00a0Loyalty\u00a0<\/em>token on a character\u2019s card of the attacker\u2019s choice instead of dealing damage.\u00a0 Use your influence wisely; have someone give\u00a0The Penguin<\/strong>\u00a0a nudge with their elbow and move the\u00a0Loyalty<\/em>\u00a0token to someone you have poised to attack to get the bonus.\u00a0 Beware though, any character can take the free action from\u00a0Dealmaker<\/em>; even opposing characters, so be careful not to let the opponent steal your influence!\u00a0 To that end,\u00a0The Penguin\u00a0<\/strong>has\u00a0Force Blast\u00a0<\/em>to keep the opposition beyond arm\u2019s length and gets a little tougher to deal with if he takes a small hit, starting with\u00a0Willpower\u00a0<\/em>and going on to\u00a0Combat Reflexes<\/em>\u00a0with a late finish of\u00a0Close Combat Expert<\/em>.\u00a0 Not one for the loony bin,\u00a0The Penguin\u00a0<\/strong>has\u00a0Gotham City<\/em>,\u00a0Gotham City Underworld,<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Politician<\/em>\u00a0keywords along with a strong potential to benefit from the\u00a0Batman Enemy<\/em>\u00a0team ability.\u00a0 If these two classic\u00a0Batman\u00a0<\/strong>villains don\u2019t leave your opponent cold then this next character will,\u00a0Mr. Freeze<\/strong>!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"DC<\/a><\/p>\n

For a hearty 100 points,\u00a0Mr. Freeze<\/strong>\u00a0brings some much needed ranged attack and board control options for his teammates.\u00a0 With 6 range and two targets,\u00a0Running Shot<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Willpower,<\/em>\u00a0Mr. Freeze<\/strong>\u00a0can make the most of his\u00a0Freeze Ray<\/em>\u00a0special attack power, which deals out\u00a0Frozen<\/em>\u00a0tokens to any hit targets in addition to doing normal damage.\u00a0 If a character has a\u00a0Frozen<\/em>\u00a0token, they must remove it instead of their action tokens when they would normally clear tokens.\u00a0 Locking down an opponent with this should give you plenty of time to lay out all your best (worst?) ice puns.\u00a0 He picks up some\u00a0Range Combat Expert\u00a0<\/em>if you find a single target in particular that needs to chill out.\u00a0 If things heat up and\u00a0Mr. Freeze<\/strong>\u00a0takes some damage, you can put up some ice\u00a0Barriers<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Sidestep<\/em>\u00a0to make your escape.\u00a0 In addition to the\u00a0Arkham Asylum<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Gotham City\u00a0<\/em>keywords, he also has\u00a0Armor\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Scientist<\/em>.\u00a0 Don\u2019t forget the\u00a0Batman Enemy<\/em>\u00a0team ability which can help make that\u00a0Freeze Ray<\/em>\u00a0special power scary, even to his last click.<\/p>\n
