Greetings HeroClix Fans!<\/p>\n

We\u2019re back with a\u00a0closer look into one of the figures Scott Porter pulled in yesterday\u2019s\u00a0unboxing video<\/a>\u00a0of\u00a0our upcoming\u00a0DC Comics HeroClix: The Joker\u2019s Wild!<\/strong>\u00a0set.\u00a0 This time, we\u2019re looking, ahem, at a member of the Outsiders who will make you do a double-take.\u00a0 Let\u2019s take a gander at the two versions of\u00a0Looker<\/strong>\u00a0as she makes her HeroClix debut!<\/p>\n

\"DC<\/a><\/p>\n

Looker<\/strong>\u00a0has a simple set of combat values starting off with a solid 11 attack value and 8 range.\u00a0\u00a0Looker<\/strong>\u2019s power set features\u00a0Energy Shield\/Deflection<\/em>,\u00a0Mind Control<\/em>, and a special power called\u00a0Telepathic Coordination<\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0Telepathic Coordination<\/em>\u00a0allows\u00a0Looker<\/strong>\u00a0to use\u00a0Mind Control<\/em>, and when she does, the hit character boosts its attack value by +1 for the rest of the turn. The character receives this bonus even it has been targeted by the Outsiders team ability.<\/p>\n

Looker<\/strong>\u2019s base damage output isn\u2019t great so she definitely won\u2019t be your force\u2019s primary attacker.\u00a0 Her primary contribution to your force will be through her use of\u00a0Telepathic Coordination<\/em>\u00a0to take control of opposing figures. For defense,\u00a0Looker<\/strong>\u00a0can use the Outsiders team ability to make sure opposing characters can\u2019t increase their combat values and\u00a0Energy Shield\/Deflection<\/em>\u00a0to potentially protect her from opposing big hitters.<\/p>\n

\"DC<\/a><\/p>\n

If a stronger version of\u00a0Looker<\/strong>\u00a0is preferred, consider adding her Prime version on your force.\u00a0 The Prime represents\u00a0Looker<\/strong>\u00a0after her transformation into a vampire and comes in at 100 points.\u00a0 Like the non-Prime counterpart,\u00a0Looker<\/strong>\u00a0has the Wing speed symbol and the standard attack, defense, and damage symbols.\u00a0 She also has the Outsiders team ability.\u00a0 Unlike the non-Prime,\u00a0Looker<\/strong>\u00a0does not have a printed range value as she\u2019s built primarily for close attacks.<\/p>\n

Looker<\/strong>\u00a0has a trait,\u00a0The Blood-drinking is the Worst Part<\/em>, which sets her starting line at click #5 and, like other vampires in HeroClix, lets her use\u00a0Steal Energy<\/em>\u00a0to heal above that line.\u00a0\u00a0Looker<\/strong>\u2019s dial features a colorful array of standard powers that include\u00a0Charge<\/em>,\u00a0Telekinesis<\/em>,\u00a0Mind Control<\/em>,\u00a0Toughness<\/em>,\u00a0Regeneration<\/em>,\u00a0Exploit Weakness<\/em>, and\u00a0Outwit<\/em>. \u00a0If you manage to heal\u00a0Looker<\/strong>\u00a0above her starting line, she also has a special power,\u00a0Turn Into Mist<\/em>, that lets her use\u00a0Combat Reflexes<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Impervious<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Prime\u00a0Looker<\/strong>\u00a0has a fairly steady set of speed, attack, and damage values, while her defense ends with a slight upswing.\u00a0\u00a0Looker<\/strong>\u2019s two clicks of\u00a0Telekinesis<\/em>\u00a0make her a viable support piece initially, but you\u2019ll of course need to heal above her starting line in order for her to be a brutal primary attacker.<\/p>\n
