Greetings, HeroClix fans! Welcome to another exciting preview from the upcoming\u00a0DC HeroClix: The Joker\u2019s Wild!<\/strong>\u00a0set! Today, we blast into the Golden Age of comics\u2013\u00a0all the way back to\u00a0All-Star Comics #3<\/em>published in 1940\u2013 to look at a fast-moving and hard-hitting pair of founding members of the heroic sub-theme in this set\u2026 the\u00a0Justice Society of America<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0JSA<\/strong>\u00a0for short.<\/p>\n

\"DC<\/a><\/p>\n

Speaking of short, our first hero Al Pratt (aka\u00a0The Atom<\/strong>) may be small in stature, but makes up for it with his incredible strength and fighting skills!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>The proverbial 98-pound weakling studying at Calvin College, Al Pratt was trained by none other than boxing champ Joe Morgan.\u00a0\u00a0The Atom<\/strong>\u00a0may only be 25 points, but he is no light-weight!\u00a0\u00a0Sidestep<\/em>\u00a0gets him into the fight,\u00a0Combat Reflexes<\/em>\u00a0helps him to avoid incoming punches\u2026 before Al lays them out with his\u00a0Close Combat Expert<\/em>\u00a0which can give him up to a whopping 5 damage on his top click!<\/p>\n

The Atom<\/strong>\u00a0also features a shared trait that will be seen on all the founding\u00a0JSA<\/strong>\u00a0members in the set called\u00a0A Simpler Time<\/em>.\u00a0 With this trait, when another friendly character with the\u00a0JSA<\/strong>\u00a0team ability uses it to share the defense value from\u00a0The Atom<\/strong>, they will also receive a bonus of +1 to their defense if they are being targeted by a close attack.<\/p>\n

\"DC<\/a><\/p>\n

Next up, we look at the speedster of the team\u2014\u00a0The Flash<\/strong>!\u00a0 Born in Keystone City,\u00a0<\/em>Jay Garrick was a\u00a0Scientist<\/em>\u00a0who worked with hard water. During one such experiment, Jay was struck by lightning, granting him the speed of Mercury, allowing him to become\u00a0The Flash!\u00a0<\/strong>At 35 points,\u00a0The Flash<\/strong>\u00a0possesses two standard powers\u2014\u00a0Hypersonic Speed<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Super Senses<\/em>\u2014 with impressive speed and defense values to keep him out of danger and solid attack values to be able to stick those hit-and-run attacks.<\/p>\n

The Flash<\/strong>\u2019s\u00a0A Simpler Time<\/em>\u00a0trait allows his\u00a0JSA<\/strong>\u00a0teammates to use\u00a0Super Senses<\/em>\u00a0for an attack if they share his defense value, however they only succeed on a result of a 6.<\/p>\n
