Today we are kicking off previews of the upcoming\u00a0DC Comics HeroClix: The Joker\u2019s Wild!<\/strong>\u00a0set by catching up with a dastardly duo that has taken the term \u201clove-hate relationship\u201d to new lows.\u00a0 On the loose once again from Arkham Asylum, make way for former psychiatrist Dr. Harleen Quinzel (aka\u00a0Harley Quinn<\/strong>) and her psychopathic puddin\u2019,\u00a0The Joker<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

\"DC<\/a><\/p>\n

Harley Quinn<\/strong>\u00a0can be added to your force by paying 35 points. With that low cost, comes a short-yet-effective dial.\u00a0 As one of\u00a0Batman<\/strong>\u2019s foes,\u00a0Harley Quinn<\/strong>\u00a0has the Batman Enemy team ability which allows her to replace her attack value with that of a friendly character using the same team ability.\u00a0 She also has a trait called\u00a0This Is How I Deal With The Bat<\/em>, which boosts a teammate\u2019s attack value by +1 for a close attack when that teammate uses the Batman Enemy team ability to replace its attack value with Harley\u2019s.<\/p>\n

At 35 points and with bit of a short dial,\u00a0Harley Quinn<\/strong>\u00a0will likely act as a nuisance on your force.\u00a0 Early on,\u00a0Harley Quinn<\/strong>\u00a0should share her 10 attack value with teammates that also have the Batman Enemy team ability.\u00a0 If trouble comes her way, she has\u00a0Shape Change<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Super Senses<\/em>\u00a0to help her avoid and evade attacks, respectively.\u00a0 Speaking of attacks,\u00a0Harley Quinn<\/strong>\u00a0has a special power in her attack slot called\u00a0Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Stab<\/em>\u00a0which lets her use\u00a0Incapacitate<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Poison<\/em>.\u00a0 To make good use of her ability to use\u00a0Incapacitate<\/em>,\u00a0Harley\u00a0<\/strong>can shoot two targets up to five squares away.\u00a0 The rest of her dial is suited appropriately, with\u00a0Sidestep<\/em>,\u00a0Stealth,<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Close Combat Expert<\/em>\u00a0rounding out her standard powers.<\/p>\n

\"DC<\/a><\/p>\n

On his own or paired with\u00a0Harley Quinn<\/strong>,\u00a0The Joker<\/strong>\u00a0is capable of causing chaos wherever he is on a HeroClix map.\u00a0\u00a0The Joker<\/strong>\u00a0has a point value of 50 and brings his own variation of the\u00a0This Is How I Deal With The Bat<\/em>\u00a0trait found on numerous characters in the set.\u00a0 Instead of giving a +1 to the attack value of a teammate using the Batman Enemy team ability,\u00a0The Joker\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0version of\u00a0This Is How I Deal With The Bat<\/em>\u00a0lets that teammate reroll the attack roll.\u00a0\u00a0The Joker<\/strong>\u2019s attack values never dip below 10, making him an ideal candidate for teammates with the Batman Enemy team ability that need some help.<\/p>\n

The Joker<\/strong>\u2019s dial is a click longer than\u00a0Harley Quinn<\/strong>\u2019s and his lack of a printed range means he\u2019s best used for close attacks.\u00a0 However,\u00a0The Joker<\/strong>\u00a0has a special power in his attack slot that lets him get around his lack of range.\u00a0 His special power,\u00a0C\u2019mon Bats\u2026 It\u2019s The Old Squirting Flower Gag<\/em>, lets\u00a0The Joker<\/strong>\u00a0make a close attack against a single opponent within three squares and the line of fire.\u00a0 If the attack hits, that character is dealt one penetrating damage instead of normal damage.\u00a0\u00a0The Joker<\/strong>\u00a0has\u00a0Sidestep<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Super Senses<\/em>\u00a0on each of his clicks, allowing him to duck and dodge attacks as necessary.\u00a0\u00a0Perplex<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Outwit<\/em>\u00a0fill out the rest of\u00a0The Joker<\/strong>\u2019s standard powers.<\/p>\n

Both\u00a0Harley Quinn<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0The Joker<\/strong>\u00a0have the\u00a0Arkham Asylum<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Gotham City Underworld<\/em>\u00a0keywords for themed team play.\u00a0\u00a0Harley Quinn<\/strong>\u00a0also has the\u00a0Gotham City Sirens<\/em>\u00a0keyword as an additional option.\u00a0 For less than 100 points,\u00a0Harley Quinn<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0The Joker<\/strong>\u00a0leave plenty of room on a force for other attackers and support characters.<\/p>\n
