Greetings, HeroClix fans! Welcome to a look into the seedy underbelly of the DC Universe as we take a look at two pieces the upcoming\u00a0DC HeroClix: The Joker\u2019s Wild!\u00a0<\/strong>set! Today, we\u2019re exploring the villainous group known as the Court of Owls, with the\u00a0Court of Owls Initiates<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Talon!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"DC<\/a><\/p>\n

Our first figures are the 10-point\u00a0Court of Owls Initiates<\/strong>, 3 click pieces that serve as damage soaks for pieces with\u00a0Mastermind<\/em>\u00a0or other damage transferal traits or powers. Their trait,\u00a0Raise the Dead<\/em>, states that when damage is transferred to the\u00a0Court of Owls Initiate<\/strong>, it\u2019s reduced by 1. They also possess the standard powers\u00a0Stealth<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Exploit Weakness<\/em>. Both the 005a and 005b versions of the character have identical stats and power layouts, and are equally effective at helping fill out a\u00a0Court of Owls<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0Gotham City<\/em>\u00a0team, or to provide swarm capabilities for your squad.<\/p>\n

\"DC<\/a><\/p>\n

Our next piece is\u00a0Talon,\u00a0<\/strong>a 120-point figure who has a range of 5 squares with 2 targets. He possesses a trait called\u00a0Assassin of the Court<\/em>, which allows him the use of both\u00a0Sidestep\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Stealth<\/em>. He can also use\u00a0Mastermind<\/em>, but only to transfer damage to characters with the\u00a0Court of Owls<\/em>\u00a0keyword. He also possesses a special power on the final two clicks of defense on his six-click dial called\u00a0Undead and Undying<\/em>, which allows\u00a0Talon<\/strong>\u00a0to use both\u00a0Combat Reflexes<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Regeneration<\/em>. When\u00a0Talon<\/strong>\u00a0does use\u00a0Regeneration<\/em>, instead of subtracting 2 from the roll, you will instead subtract the number of action tokens assigned to him!<\/p>\n

\"DC<\/a><\/p>\n

Talon\u00a0<\/strong>also possesses a number of strong standard powers, such as\u00a0Running Shot, Charge, Precision Strike, Blades\/Claws\/Fangs, Toughness, Combat Reflexes, Shape Change, Exploit Weakness,<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Outwit.\u00a0<\/em>Coupled with his\u00a0Improved Movement \u2013 Ignores Hindering Terrain and Ignores Elevated Terrain<\/em>,\u00a0Talon<\/strong>\u00a0is a mobility specialist, and can move and attack with little hindrance.<\/p>\n
