The last three characters in this Fast Forces, representing the Turtles and their allies from the original 1987 cartoon, are\u00a0<strong>Michelangelo<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Donatello<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>April<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Each of the Turtles in this pack come in at 75 points, all share the\u00a0<em>TMNT<\/em>,\u00a0<em>TMNT Ally<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Animal,<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Martial Artist<\/em>\u00a0keywords and a few other features that give\u00a0<strong>Krang<\/strong>\u00a0a headache.\u00a0 Even though they are mutated into human size, they are still turtles and are most at home near water as evidenced by their\u00a0<em>Aquatic\u00a0<\/em>movement symbol that lets them get around the sewers unencumbered.\u00a0 They all start off with similar defense powers;\u00a0<em>Invulnerability,<\/em>\u00a0moving into\u00a0<em>Toughness<\/em>.\u00a0 The last shared feature is the trait\u00a0<em>\u201c\u2019Clang\u2019?\u00a0 Did You Say \u2018Clang\u2019?\u201d\u00a0<\/em>that modifies their attack value by +1 when attacking only characters 75 points or less, and modifies their damage values by +1 when attacking only characters with the\u00a0<em>Robot\u00a0<\/em>keyword.\u00a0 That covers their basic ninja training skills, let\u2019s get into their individual fighting styles.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heroclix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/FF-002-Michelangelo.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18118\" src=\"http:\/\/heroclix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/FF-002-Michelangelo.jpg\" sizes=\"(max-width: 524px) 100vw, 524px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/heroclix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/FF-002-Michelangelo.jpg 1200x, http:\/\/heroclix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/FF-002-Michelangelo-300x139.jpg 300x, http:\/\/heroclix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/FF-002-Michelangelo-768x355.jpg 768x, http:\/\/heroclix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/FF-002-Michelangelo-1024x474.jpg 1024x\" alt=\"TMNT HeroClix: Heroes in a Half Shell Fast Forces - Michelangelo\" width=\"524\" height=\"242\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Michelangelo<\/strong>\u00a0is pretty laid back for a nunchuker, which is part of what makes him a bit unpredictable at times. In this case, that\u2019s represented by his\u00a0<em>Shape Change<\/em>\u00a0that later turns into\u00a0<em>Probability Control<\/em>.\u00a0 Defensively he departs from<strong>\u00a0Leonardo<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Raphael<\/strong>\u00a0a little by putting some\u00a0<em>Combat Reflexes\u00a0<\/em>in between his damage reduction clicks.\u00a0 Offensively, with a pair of fast swinging nunchuks, he can do a lot of damage with\u00a0<em>Flurry<\/em>.\u00a0 Choose his targets carefully though, for when you want him to deliver a\u00a0<em>Pizza To The Face<\/em>\u00a0to prevent a single opposing character he hits from using any attack powers until your next turn.\u00a0 To finish his dial and keep the\u00a0<strong>Foot Clan\u00a0<\/strong>goons from getting away, or so he can skate away to finish his left over pizza,\u00a0<strong>Michelangelo<\/strong>\u00a0has a few clicks of<em>\u00a0Plasticity<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heroclix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/FF-003-Donatello.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18119\" src=\"http:\/\/heroclix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/FF-003-Donatello.jpg\" sizes=\"(max-width: 524px) 100vw, 524px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/heroclix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/FF-003-Donatello.jpg 1200x, http:\/\/heroclix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/FF-003-Donatello-300x139.jpg 300x, http:\/\/heroclix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/FF-003-Donatello-768x355.jpg 768x, http:\/\/heroclix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/FF-003-Donatello-1024x474.jpg 1024x\" alt=\"TMNT HeroClix: Heroes in a Half Shell Fast Forces - Donatello\" width=\"524\" height=\"242\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Every team needs its brain, and\u00a0<strong>Donatello\u00a0<\/strong>has it where it counts.\u00a0 He splits his mental efforts between\u00a0<em>Outwit<\/em>to start with and\u00a0<em>Perplex\u00a0<\/em>on the back half of his dial.\u00a0 Though he lacks a move and attack option, he does have\u00a0<em>Leap\/Climb<\/em>\u00a0to get him wherever you need him to get the most out of his damage powers.\u00a0 On defense, he departs from his teammates and has\u00a0<em>Energy Shield\/Deflection<\/em>\u00a0instead of\u00a0<em>Combat Reflexes<\/em>.\u00a0 His teammates find his attack special very useful.\u00a0\u00a0<em>Trash Can Over The Head<\/em>\u00a0prevents a single character that\u00a0<strong>Donatello\u00a0<\/strong>hits from using any defense powers until your next turn.\u00a0 That\u2019s two ways to cancel or otherwise prevent an opponent from using their powers.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Donatello<\/strong>\u00a0is one smart amphibian!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heroclix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/FF-005-April.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18120\" src=\"http:\/\/heroclix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/FF-005-April.jpg\" sizes=\"(max-width: 524px) 100vw, 524px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/heroclix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/FF-005-April.jpg 1200x, http:\/\/heroclix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/FF-005-April-300x139.jpg 300x, http:\/\/heroclix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/FF-005-April-768x355.jpg 768x, http:\/\/heroclix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/FF-005-April-1024x474.jpg 1024x\" alt=\"TMNT HeroClix: Heroes in a Half Shell Fast Forces - April\" width=\"524\" height=\"242\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Our last character in the<strong>\u00a0Heroes in a Half Shell Fast Forces Pack<\/strong>\u00a0is one of the first humans the Turtles befriended as a\u00a0<em>TMNT Ally<\/em>\u00a0was\u00a0<em>Reporter,<\/em>\u00a0<strong>April O\u2019Neil<\/strong>.\u00a0 At 25 points,<strong>\u00a0April<\/strong>\u00a0only has a two-click dial with\u00a0<em>Plasticity<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Super Senses<\/em>, and a damage special power,\u00a0<em>I\u2019ve Got Pizza Guys,<\/em>\u00a0that lets her heal one adjacent\u00a0<em>TMNT<\/em>\u00a0keyword-possessing character of one click for free or all adjacent\u00a0<em>TMNT<\/em>\u00a0keyword possessing characters of one click by giving her a power action on both clicks.\u00a0 As if that wasn\u2019t enough,\u00a0<strong>April<\/strong>\u00a0also has the\u00a0<em>We\u2019ve Gotta Save April<\/em>\u00a0trait that adds to her utility at the risk of running up the opponent\u2019s total score.\u00a0 Whenever she would be KO\u2019d by an opposing character\u2019s attack, you instead put a\u00a0<em>Rescue\u00a0<\/em>token on her card and place her on the attacker\u2019s card.\u00a0 Friendly characters with the\u00a0<em>TMNT Ally<\/em>\u00a0keyword get +1 attack value when attacking that character.\u00a0 When a character is KO\u2019d with\u00a0<strong>April<\/strong>\u00a0on their card, you can place\u00a0<strong>April<\/strong>\u00a0in the square they last occupied on click #1.\u00a0 At the end of the game, the opponent scores 25 points for every<em>Rescue\u00a0<\/em>token on\u00a0<strong>April\u2019s\u00a0<\/strong>card.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s all the characters you get in the\u00a0<strong>Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles HeroClix: Heroes in a Half Shell Fast Forces Pack<\/strong>, so what might a team of them look like?<br \/>\nLet\u2019s try this:<\/p>\n<p><strong>75\u00a0\u00a0 Leonardo<br \/>\n75\u00a0\u00a0 Donatello<br \/>\n75\u00a0\u00a0 Michelangelo<br \/>\n50\u00a0\u00a0 Casey Jones<br \/>\n<u>25\u00a0\u00a0 April\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 _<\/u><br \/>\n300 total points<br \/>\nTMNT Ally Keyword<br \/>\n+5 to initiative bonus<br \/>\n3 uses of Themed Team Probability Control<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nYou get 3 actions per turn at 300 points, but can stretch that to 4 on certain occasions with\u00a0<strong>Casey Jones\u2019\u00a0<\/strong><em>Rules Are For Suckers<\/em>\u00a0trait.\u00a0 Run\u00a0<strong>April\u00a0<\/strong>up into the fight to be the nosey investigative reporter and to tie up an opponent, practically forcing them to \u2018capture\u2019 her so all the rest of your team can get +1 attack from\u00a0<em>We\u2019ve Gotta Save April<\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Donatello\u00a0<\/strong><em>Outwit<\/em>s characters and prevents use of defense powers when he hits, while\u00a0<strong>Leonardo<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Casey Jones\u00a0<\/strong>add to close combat damage, each with\u00a0<em>Empower,<\/em>\u00a0making\u00a0<strong>Michelangelo\u2019s<\/strong>nunchuk<em>\u00a0Flurry<\/em>\u00a0extremely bad for the opponent\u2019s health, which is able to deal up to 10 damage, in the right conditions, with successful attacks.\u00a0 It\u2019s a little close combat heavy so you\u2019ll want a map that either prevents long range lines of fire from being drawn or a map that hinders enemy movement.\u00a0 Of course, the\u00a0<em>Sewer Indoor\u00a0<\/em>map from the first set\u2019s OP kit or the\u00a0<em>Turtles Lair Indoor<\/em>\u00a0map from the\u00a0<strong>Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles HeroClix:\u00a0Mouser Mayhem!\u00a0Starter Set<\/strong>\u00a0are perfect for getting the most out their\u00a0<em>Aquatic\u00a0<\/em>movement symbols<em>,\u00a0<\/em>as the water terrain that goes around most of those two maps acts like a moat\u00a0and\u00a0will hinder the movement of any regular size character with the plain boot symbol.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s all for today, HeroClix fans!
