Welcome back for another exciting preview for the\u00a0Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles HeroClix<\/strong>:\u00a0\u00a0Heroes In A Half-Shell\u00a0<\/strong>set!\u00a0 This second\u00a0Gravity Feed adds more than 30 characters from the\u00a032 years of TMNT history, based on both\u00a0the comics and animated TV series.\u00a0 Today\u2019s preview thickens the plot between the Turtles and the Foot Clan, introducing the mysterious and deadly\u00a0Karai<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

\"TMNT<\/a><\/p>\n

Karai\u00a0<\/strong>is an offense-driven\u00a0Martial Artist\u00a0<\/em>piece that can shine whether she\u2019s fighting alongside her\u00a0Foot Clan<\/em>tribe or as part of an uneasy coalition on a\u00a0TMNT Ally<\/em>\u00a0team.\u00a0\u00a0Leonardo, My\u2026 Rival\u00a0<\/em>is a trait that makes good work of teaming\u00a0Karai\u00a0<\/strong>with her frequent sparring partner,\u00a0Leonardo<\/strong>. When adjacent to a friendly\u00a0Leonardo<\/strong>, they both modify their attack values by +1 for even greater offensive output from both of them.\u00a0\u00a0Karai<\/strong>\u00a0is a dangerous ranged attacker with a range value of 6.\u00a0 She starts off with\u00a0Running Shot<\/em>, letting her move and attack, and possesses\u00a0Precision Strike<\/em>, helping her get through some tricky defense powers and guaranteeing some damage when she hits.\u00a0Outwit<\/em>\u00a0being present on her top three clicks will be very useful for her to limit opposing figures\u2019 options to retaliate or to drop their defenses even further.\u00a0\u00a0Energy Shield\/Deflection,<\/em>\u00a0also on her first three clicks, will help her defend against opposing ranged attacks followed by\u00a0Toughness<\/em>\u00a0for extra durability.<\/p>\n

Of special note is that her dial includes a\u00a0STOP\u00a0<\/em>click, which means players must stop turning the dial when her special power,\u00a0The Shredder Bluff<\/em>, is revealed, even if she was supposed to have taken more damage. There\u2019s nothing more intimidating than disguising yourself in Shredder\u2019s armor, so\u00a0Karai\u00a0<\/strong>can really pack a punch while on this click.\u00a0The Shredder Bluff<\/em>\u00a0lets\u00a0Karai<\/strong>\u00a0use\u00a0Close Combat Expert<\/em>, but also lets players giveKarai\u00a0<\/strong>a free action to make a ranged attack that deals penetrating damage equal to the attack total minus the target\u2019s defense value, instead of normal damage. Since\u00a0Karai<\/strong>\u00a0also possesses\u00a0Sidestep\u00a0<\/em>on this click, she can use\u00a0Close Combat Expert<\/em>\u00a0if she\u2019s adjacent to an opposing character and then attempt to breakaway on a\u00a0Sidestep<\/em>\u00a0to hopefully use the special ability at range (or vice versa, with the free action ranged attack first and then\u00a0Sidestepping<\/em>\u00a0into adjacency for an attack using\u00a0Close Combat Expert<\/em>).\u00a0 For 80 points,\u00a0Karai<\/strong>\u00a0is capable of dealing serious damage whether she\u2019s at range with her bow & arrow or up close and personal with opposing characters.<\/p>\n
