Today, we\u2019re looking at one of the most popular characters from the 1987 animated series \u2013 the hockey mask wearing vigilante,\u00a0Casey Jones!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\"Teenage<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Casey Jones<\/strong>\u00a0is a 5-click, 60-point piece, with a range of 5 squares and one target. He\u2019s a pure fighter, comfortable up close with a hockey stick, or at range by hitting a baseball or puck at an opponent, which is where his\u00a0Martial Artist<\/em>\u00a0keyword comes from. His\u00a0TMNT Ally<\/em>\u00a0keyword needs no introduction, as\u00a0Casey<\/strong>\u00a0is one of the most stalwart friends of the Turtles, fighting by their side against the Foot Clan and invaders from Dimension X!<\/p>\n

From a power perspective,\u00a0Casey Jones<\/strong>\u00a0can also be used either from range or up close. He\u2019s designed to stick and move, with a full dial of\u00a0Sidestep<\/em>, allowing him to move up to two squares as a free action \u2013 or, if he\u2019s tied up to an opposing character, allowing him a free breakaway attempt. Defensively, he alternates between\u00a0Energy Shield\/Deflection<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Combat Reflexes<\/em>, showing his aptitude at defending himself from attacks from either range or close combat attacks. To demonstrate\u00a0Casey\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0typical\u2026hardheadedness, he closes with a click of\u00a0Willpower<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 showing that he\u2019s not going to give up, and will keep pushing to fight to the very end.<\/p>\n

He has only one special power, but it encompasses his entire dial on his damage track. Called\u00a0Body Check or Slapshot?,\u00a0<\/em>this power requires you to give\u00a0Casey Jones<\/strong>\u00a0a free action, which in turn allows him to choose\u00a0Close Combat Expert<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0Ranged Combat Expert<\/em>. Even better,\u00a0Casey<\/strong>\u00a0can use this power until you choose again \u2013 so if you know you\u2019re going to be wading into a horde of\u00a0Foot Ninja\u2019s,\u00a0<\/strong>you can stick with\u00a0Close Combat Expert<\/em>, or you can keep\u00a0Casey<\/strong>\u00a0on the fringe of the fight, allowing him to pick enemies off from a distance. He\u2019s a versatile piece designed to support your squad as a secondary attacker, and is dangerous enough for\u00a0your opponent pause and give a second thought about which character to focus on.<\/p>\n
