Greetings, HeroClix fans! Today, we\u2019re looking at a couple of pieces from the upcoming\u00a0Marvel HeroClix: Superior Foes of Spider-Man<\/strong>\u00a0set \u2013 the two sides of Eddie Brock,\u00a0Venom<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Anti-Venom!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Marvel<\/a><\/p>\n

Up first is\u00a0Venom<\/strong>, the\u00a0Indomitable<\/em>\u00a0villainous iteration of Eddie Brock. At\u00a0<\/strong>125 points, he\u00a0can be played on\u00a0Sinister Syndicate, Brute, Monster,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Reporter<\/em>\u00a0themed teams, and has the Sinister Syndicate team ability.\u00a0Venom<\/strong>\u00a0has two traits,\u00a0Alien Symbiote<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Mmmm\u2026 Tasty.<\/em>\u00a0Alien Symbiote<\/em>, is a shared trait for lots of Symbiote characters in this set, which gives him\u00a0both\u00a0Plasticity\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Shape Change<\/em>, and he can automatically break away. His second trait\u00a0Mmmm\u2026 Tasty<\/em>\u00a0allows him\u00a0to heal 1 click when an opposing character takes 3 or more damage from one of\u00a0Venom\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0attacks! This power works well with all of the\u00a0Exploit Weakness<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Blades\/Claws\/Fangs<\/em>\u00a0he\u00a0has on his dial.<\/p>\n

His special defense power, called\u00a0You Can\u2019t Spell Team Without \u201cE-A-T\u201d.\u00a0<\/em>This power grants\u00a0Venom<\/strong>\u00a0the use of both\u00a0Defend\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Toughness<\/em>. Additionally, at the beginning of your turn, you may deal an adjacent friendly character 1 unavoidable damage to heal\u00a0Venom<\/strong>\u00a0of 1 click. He\u00a0also has some useful standard powers, including\u00a0Charge, Invulnerability,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Toughness<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\"Marvel<\/a><\/p>\n

Anti-Venom<\/strong>\u00a0is the uncommon prime figure in the set, and comes in at 100 points. He has two traits,\u00a0Alien Symbiote<\/em>\u00a0which is the shared trait identical to\u00a0Venom<\/strong>\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0and another trait called\u00a0I Am the Cure<\/em>.\u00a0I Am the Cure<\/em>allows you to give\u00a0Anti-Venom\u00a0<\/strong>a free action to counter a different power on each opposing character within 2 squares and line of fire until your next turn. While\u00a0Anti-Venom<\/strong>\u00a0also has access to a ton of standard powers including\u00a0Charge, Sidestep, Stealth, Blades\/Claws\/Fangs, Super Senses, Toughness, Regeneration, Exploit Weakness,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Support.<\/em><\/p>\n

Both\u00a0Venom<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Anti-Venom<\/strong>\u00a0bring different strengths to the table, and different capabilities that fill multiple roles on a team.
