Greetings HeroClix fans! Today, we\u2019re taking another look at a piece from the\u00a0Marvel HeroClix: Civil War Storyline Organized Play<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0event! Our piece today features a classic Avenger, as well as member of the Young Avengers \u2013\u00a0Vision!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Marvel<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

An 80-point piece,\u00a0Vision<\/strong>\u00a0is best suited to move freely about the map, using his range of five squares to pick troublesome opposing figures off from a distance. Of course, that\u2019s not\u00a0all<\/em>\u00a0he\u2019s built for! For example, if you run him on a\u00a0Young Avengers<\/em>\u00a0themed team, you can take advantage of his trait,\u00a0Protect Cassie No Matter What.\u00a0<\/em>This trait provides a unique modifier, stating that if\u00a0Vision<\/strong>\u00a0is adjacent to a friendly character named\u00a0Stature<\/strong>, you modify both of their attack values by +1!<\/p>\n

Vision<\/strong>\u00a0also makes use of some significant standard powers. As hinted at earlier,\u00a0Vision<\/strong>\u00a0begins the game with two clicks featuring both\u00a0Phasing\/Teleport<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Penetrating\/Psychic Blast<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 which are especially useful when positioning and getting him ready to attack characters with damage reducing powers, like\u00a0Iron Man<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0Ms. Marvel<\/strong>. His final two clicks also bring two powers well suited to work together,\u00a0Charge<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Exploit Weakness<\/em>. Other standard powers on his dial include\u00a0Precision Strike, Shape Change,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Super Senses.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

One of the\u00a0Vision\u2019s\u00a0<\/strong>signature abilities is his ability to become lighter than air or harder than steel, which is\u00a0represented on his dial by his special power\u00a0Density Control<\/em>. Appearing on his first three clicks of defense,\u00a0Density Control<\/em>\u00a0states that at the beginning of your turn, you may choose one of these combinations until you choose again:\u00a0Vision<\/strong>\u00a0can use\u00a0Super Senses<\/em>\u00a0and modifies his defense value by +1, or\u00a0Vision<\/strong>\u00a0may instead use\u00a0Invulnerability<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Super Strength<\/em>!<\/p>\n

A versatile combatant, able to damage in either close combat or ranged combat situations,\u00a0Vision<\/strong>\u00a0is a significant addition to any team, and is able to be played on\u00a0Anti-Registration, Robot<\/em>, or\u00a0Young Avengers<\/em>themed teams. He has a diverse set of abilities, and can suitably fill any role you need at any given time!<\/p>\n
