Today we continue to feature that balance as we look at two heroes, one on each side of the conflict. Both fill similar roles on their respective teams, including the dodgy and elusive secondary attacker, the harassment piece that cannot be ignored, the sleeper hitter, and possibly the surprise champion of your team. Filling these roles today, we have\u00a0Daredevil<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Wasp<\/strong>!<\/p>\n Though the character\u2019s name is\u00a0Daredevil,<\/strong>\u00a0his\u00a0Real Name\u00a0<\/em>listed on the back of the card tells a different story.\u00a0 During the time of the fight over the Super Human Registration Act,\u00a0Daredevil\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0secret identity as New York based lawyer\u00a0Matt Murdock<\/em>\u00a0was leaked to the tabloids. He was under heavy scrutiny by paparazzi, the New York press, the police and FBI, and of course several of his old nemeses, who showed up at his doorstep.\u00a0 To deflect suspicions that he was\u00a0Daredevil<\/strong>\u00a0and to keep his friends and law practice safe, he made a deal with his friend and fellow martial artist crime fighter\u00a0Danny Rand<\/em>, the\u00a0Iron Fist<\/strong>.\u00a0Danny<\/em>\u00a0was to wear the\u00a0Daredevil<\/strong>\u00a0costume and patrol the Hell\u2019s Kitchen neighborhood in\u00a0Matt\u2019s<\/em>\u00a0place until the media frenzy died down.\u00a0 This meant though that when\u00a0Danny Rand<\/em>\u00a0answered the call and joined\u00a0Captain America\u2019s\u00a0<\/strong>Anti-Registration forces he was doing so as\u00a0Daredevil<\/strong>!\u00a0 In HeroClix terms, all this history gives him\u00a0Anti-Registration<\/em>,\u00a0Marvel Knights<\/em>, and\u00a0Heroes for Hire<\/em>\u00a0keywords along with\u00a0Mystical\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Martial Artist<\/em>, the\u00a0Spider-Man Ally<\/em>\u00a0wildcard team ability and the potential to be called into the fight with the\u00a0Avengers Round Table<\/strong>resource using either the\u00a0Daredevil<\/strong>\u00a0OR\u00a0Iron Fist<\/strong>\u00a0Avengers ID Cards<\/em>.<\/p>\n If there is something that both\u00a0Daredevil\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Iron Fist<\/strong>\u00a0have in common it is avoiding being hit while hitting hard in return.\u00a0 At 70 points,\u00a0Daredevil<\/strong>\u00a0makes for an excellent close combat or short range combat piece.\u00a0 With\u00a0Sidestep<\/em>,\u00a0Charge<\/em>, and\u00a0Improved Movement: Ignore Elevated Terrain<\/em>\u00a0called\u00a0New Devil of Hell\u2019s Kitchen,<\/em>he can get anywhere you need him to tie up and engage the opposition.\u00a0 For ranged abilities, he has a 3 range with two targets and\u00a0Incapacitate<\/em>\u00a0to start with, but where he excels is close combat.\u00a0 He begins the game with\u00a0Close Combat Expert\u00a0<\/em>and a special defense power,\u00a0No Radar, Just Well Trained<\/em>, that gives him\u00a0Combat Reflexes<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Super Senses<\/em>\u00a0to increase his attack, damage, and defense when engaging base to base and dodging incoming attacks.\u00a0 Mid and late dial he switches to\u00a0Willpower<\/em>\u00a0to get more actions and tries some other kung-fu methods with alternating\u00a0Flurry\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Exploit Weakness.<\/em>\u00a0With a single click of\u00a0Regeneration<\/em>\u00a0on his 6th\u00a0and last click,\u00a0Daredevil<\/strong>\u00a0will hopefully be able to stay in the fight.<\/p>\n![\"Marvel](\"http:\/\/heroclix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/MV2016-007-Daredevil.jpg\")
