Greetings HeroClix fans, and welcome to another exciting look into the world of the upcoming\u00a0Marvel HeroClix: Civil War Storyline OP<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0event! Today, we\u2019re looking at two sharpshooters from opposing sides of the battle \u2013\u00a0Coldblood<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Bullseye!<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Marvel<\/a><\/p>\n

Up first, representing the\u00a0Anti-Registration<\/em>\u00a0efforts, is the cyborg soldier\u00a0Coldblood!<\/strong>\u00a0Right out of the gate,\u00a0Coldblood\u00a0<\/strong>has\u00a0Improved Targeting: Ignores Hindering Terrain,\u00a0<\/em>and may make a ranged combat attack against any opposing character within range and line of fire, even if that character is in an adjacent square.\u00a0<\/em>Additionally, he possesses a trait called\u00a0Cyborg Body, Cyborg Brain<\/em>\u00a0which grants\u00a0Coldblood<\/strong>\u00a0the use of\u00a0Toughness.\u00a0<\/em>With those powers, he also is able to use\u00a0Running Shot, Stealth, Energy Explosion, Penetrating\/Psychic Blast, Willpower, Energy Shield\/Deflection,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Regeneration<\/em>.\u00a0Coldblood<\/strong>\u00a0also has a range of six squares, so not only are you able to make effective ranged combat attacks via his\u00a0Improved Targeting<\/em>\u00a0ability, but you can keep him on the periphery of the fight in order to pick off stragglers from your opponent\u2019s forces!<\/p>\n

\"Marvel<\/a><\/p>\n

On the other side of the table comes one of the most deranged villains in the history of the Marvel Universe \u2013\u00a0Bullseye!<\/strong>\u00a0A cold blooded murderer,\u00a0Bullseye\u00a0<\/strong>comes loaded for bear with\u00a0Improved Targeting: Ignores Hindering Terrain, Ignores Characters,\u00a0<\/em>and may make a ranged combat attack against any opposing character within range and line of fire, even if that character is in an adjacent square.\u00a0<\/em>He also possesses two traits \u2013 the first plays into his\u00a0Thunderbolts<\/em>\u00a0keyword, called\u00a0Justice, Like Lightning.\u00a0<\/em>This trait states that after actions resolve during which\u00a0Bullseye<\/strong>\u00a0damaged one or more opposing characters with an attack, roll a d6 that can\u2019t be rerolled. On a 5 or 6, remove an action token from a friendly character with the\u00a0Thunderbolts<\/em>keyword within 4 squares. The other trait,\u00a0This One\u2019s Got Your Name On It,\u00a0<\/em>states that when\u00a0Bullseye<\/strong>damages an opposing character with an attack, place a marked token on that character\u2019s card. Then, when\u00a0Bullseye<\/strong>\u00a0targets a character that has a marked token with an attack, he may remove one marked token from that character to increase damage dealt to that character by 1 if he hits!\u00a0Bullseye<\/strong>\u00a0also has a bevy of standard powers, including\u00a0Running Shot, Precision Strike, Willpower, Energy Shield\/Deflection,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Ranged Combat Expert<\/em>, as well as a special power on speed that shows on his final three clicks of life called\u00a0Time to Finish the Contract<\/em>. This power states that\u00a0Bullseye<\/strong>\u00a0can use both\u00a0Sidestep\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Stealth<\/em>, allowing him to move into hindering terrain as a free action, and then attack from cover!<\/p>\n

Both\u00a0Coldblood<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Bullseye<\/strong>\u00a0have a cost of 70 points, meaning you\u2019ll be able to build around them and have them fill the role of a strong secondary attacker from range. This can offer protection for your support pieces, and be harassing enough that your opponent will have to think twice about focusing efforts on your tentpole or tank character. Having a solid perplexer on this team would be beneficial, as granting both\u00a0Coldblood<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Bullseye<\/strong>\u00a0a boost to damage or range would make these two already effective fighters even more dangerous!
