Today, we\u2019re going to further explore our upcoming\u00a0Marvel HeroClix: Civil War Storyline Organized Play Event Series!\u00a0<\/strong>Please be sure to visit the\u00a0WizKids Info Network<\/a>\u00a0to find a local venue that will be hosting\u00a0Marvel HeroClix: Civil War Storyline OP<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0events, as they kick off in June!<\/p>\n

As we mentioned in our previous look into the set, the\u00a0Marvel HeroClix: Civil War Storyline OP<\/strong>\u00a0events are slightly different from our previous OP events, as the set is focused on the characters and their factions. Each of the five-figure\u00a0Marvel HeroClix: Civil War<\/strong>\u00a0Boosters contain characters from\u00a0Pro-Registration, Anti-Registration,\u00a0<\/em>and Neutral factions, with each base color-coded to show their faction. Today, we\u2019re going to look at opposing power-houses from the\u00a0Anti-Registration<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Pro-Registration\u00a0<\/em>sides \u2013 first, we have\u00a0Hercules!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\"Marvel<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Greek demigod\u00a0Hercules<\/strong>\u00a0is an indomitable 90-point piece, with six clicks of life and power for days! To start,\u00a0Hercules<\/strong>\u00a0possesses the trait\u00a0\u201cFair\u201d Greco-Roman Wrestling<\/em>, which allows\u00a0Herc<\/strong>\u00a0to use\u00a0Super Strength<\/em>. Additionally, when he moves adjacent to an opposing character holding an object, after actions resolve, KO that object. With regards to\u00a0Hercules<\/strong>\u00a0powers, he possesses three clicks of a special power called\u00a0If You Won\u2019t Come to Me<\/em>, which allows\u00a0Hercules<\/strong>\u00a0to use both\u00a0Charge<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Plasticity.\u00a0<\/em>He also possesses significant standard powers which really flesh out the Lion of Olympus, with\u00a0Sidestep, Quake, Invulnerability, Toughness,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Close Combat Expert<\/em>. With those powers,\u00a0Hercules<\/strong>\u00a0is also in possession of keywords that allow him to slot in on some powerful themed teams, with\u00a0Anti-Registration, Avengers, Celebrity, Deity,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Heroes for Hire!<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Marvel<\/a><\/p>\n

Switching over to the\u00a0Pro-Registration<\/em>\u00a0side of things, we have the Jade Giantess herself,\u00a0She-Hulk! Shulkie<\/strong>, much like her counterpart\u00a0Hercules<\/strong>, is an indomitable 90-point warrior with six clicks of life. There are some similarities in their power set, but where\u00a0She-Hulk<\/strong>\u00a0stands apart is with her\u00a0Improved Movement \u2013 Ignores Blocking Terrain and Destroys Blocking Terrain as the Character Moves Through It,\u00a0<\/em>and her trait,\u00a0Cease and Desist.\u00a0<\/em>Like\u00a0Hercules<\/strong>, this trait grants\u00a0Super Strength,\u00a0<\/em>but it differentiates itself by stating that when\u00a0She-Hulk<\/strong>\u00a0makes an object attack and hits, after actions resolve, the hit character is given an action token! Her standard powers are pure\u00a0She-Hulk<\/strong>, with\u00a0Charge, Leap\/Climb, Sidestep, Quake, Invulnerability, Toughness,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Close Combat Expert<\/em>. She also brings many team building options to the table, with her keywords of\u00a0Avengers, Brute, Heroes for Hire, Lady Liberators<\/em>, and\u00a0Pro-Registration<\/em>.<\/p>\n
