As with our last Disney+ themed set, the design team approached this set with an eye towards making sure each Marvel Studios show represented felt both mechanically distinct from the others, and thematically true to itself. This can be difficult to do without adding too many new mechanics, so before we went to the drawing board, we looked through recent sets for existing mechanics that could add additional depth and build options. We hope that you enjoy this Design Insights article, and you can see a whole host of previewed figures from the Dial H team on Youtube<\/span><\/strong><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\nWithout further ado, let's talk figures!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>Replacement Shenanigans with I Am <\/span>Groot<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h1><\/div>Shifting Focus is making a comeback with Baby Groot! The \"I Am Groot\" shorts showed Baby Groot getting up to hilarious hijinks, like dance-offs with shapeshifters, playing with mud baths, or blowing holes in the ship <\/span>for<\/span> an art project. <\/a><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>Monster Hunting <\/span>with<\/span> Werewolf by <\/span>Night<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h1><\/div>The popularity of <\/span>The Target<\/span> game mechanic <\/span>made it an easy choice for <\/span>a<\/span> reappearing mechanic, and <\/span>Verusa<\/span> and her monster hunters <\/span>fit the Assassin keyword nicely. <\/span>Verusa<\/span> also adds a new twist to Assassin teams by <\/span>opening up<\/span> the hunt to non-Assassins; while only Assassins can claim the <\/span>25 point<\/span> bounty, anyone can gain the Mystics T<\/span>eam <\/span>A<\/span>bility<\/span> by KOing the Target, and <\/span>possibly the<\/span> bonus 15 points as well if the Target was a Monster. <\/a><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>Challenge the <\/span>Clandestines<\/span> with Ms. Marvel<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h1><\/div>While we <\/span>didn't<\/span> dive deeply into Ms. Marvel's show content, there are several interesting figures from the show, including the previously <\/span>unclixed<\/span> Red Dagger. <\/span>From Kamala's hard light powers to the intense fights across the cityscapes of Jersey City and Karachi, <\/span>the design team<\/span> quickly realized<\/span> the <\/span>characters<\/span> of<\/span> Ms. Marvel would want to create and interact with terrain. For Kamala's ally Red Dagger,<\/span> we took that direction and <\/span>focused it on his scenes defending and <\/span>helping <\/span>Kamala through the packed streets of Karachi.
