At 50 points, this figure represents the more ethereal side of\u00a0Professor X<\/strong>\u00a0as he takes to the battlefield in astral projection\u00a0form!\u00a0 This clear-sculpted take on\u00a0Professor X<\/strong>\u00a0is meant for harassing your opponent and disrupting whatever plans they may have had, turning them to your advantage.\u00a0 His trait,\u00a0Let Me Help You Clear Your Head<\/em>\u00a0states that adjacent opposing characters can\u2019t use the\u00a0EFFECT<\/em>\u00a0of equipped items; this includes any equipped Relic or Possession figures like\u00a0Malice<\/strong>\u00a0or \u00a0Proteus\u00a0<\/strong>(who are both in the\u00a0Marvel HeroClix: Uncanny X-Men<\/strong>\u00a0set)!\u00a0 Keeping in the \u201cspirit\u201d of his astral form, he begins with the movement special\u00a0You Think You\u2019re Really Here?\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0that lets him use\u00a0Phasing\/Teleport<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Mind Control<\/em>\u00a0without taking any feedback damage.\u00a0 Early dial this is his only offensive capability, as he has 0 damage despite having a 7 square range value.\u00a0 On his next two clicks he gains more utility, being able to cancel an opposing character\u2019s powers or abilities with\u00a0Outwit<\/em>.\u00a0 Later on he loses his ability to phase about but gains regular\u00a0Mind Control<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Incapacitate<\/em>.\u00a0 Rounding out his powers, he starts with\u00a0Super Sense<\/em>\u00a0and a high defense value, though as he loses the concentration to evade attacks he picks up\u00a0Shape Change\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Willpower<\/em>.<\/p>\n

At 50 points he fits conveniently on nearly any team with his fellow\u00a0X-Men<\/strong>\u00a0to make use of their Team Ability and even meshes well with any figure that shares his\u00a0Illuminati<\/em>,\u00a0New Mutants<\/em>, or\u00a0X-Men<\/em>\u00a0keywords.\u00a0 This is a thinking-player\u2019s piece.\u00a0 He may not have many obvious offensive options, but your opponent won\u2019t be able to ignore the ghostly spectre of\u00a0Professor X<\/strong>\u00a0on your side of the table!<\/p>\n
