It\u2019s been a long time coming, but the\u00a0Age of Apocalypse<\/strong>\u00a0version of\u00a0Sabretooth<\/strong>\u00a0and his feral companion\u00a0Wild Child\u00a0<\/strong>are finally coming to your tabletop! This figure brings everything you would expect out of the characters in question and then some. Coming in at 130 points and an impressive 8 click long dial\u00a0Sabretooth and Wild Child\u00a0<\/strong>are clearly meant to be a significant focus of your force\u2019s offensive abilities. With movement power options on every click, either\u00a0Charge<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0Sidestep<\/em>, a high attack value that starts at 12 and never drops below 10, and powers that make the damage stick like\u00a0Blades\/Claws\/Fangs<\/em>,\u00a0Battle Fury\u00a0<\/em>(for ignoring opposing\u00a0Shape Change<\/em>), and\u00a0Exploit Weakness<\/em>\u00a0these two can scratch and claw their way through almost any opponent. The\u00a0Indomitable<\/em>\u00a0ability will help them ignore pushing damage to get the most out of their dial.\u00a0Toughness<\/em>\u00a0will keep them resistant to\u00a0Poison\u00a0<\/em>and smaller attacks while\u00a0Combat Reflexes<\/em>\u00a0make them hard to hit once they\u2019re in the thick of the fight. Don\u2019t forget those last two clicks of\u00a0Regeneration<\/em>\u00a0to slink back from the fight and lick their wounds.<\/p>\n That\u2019s not all though,\u00a0Sabretooth and Wild Child<\/strong>\u00a0have a pair of traits that enhance their savage deadliness.\u00a0Leashed or Unleashed?\u00a0<\/em>tells you what you can do with the removable\u00a0Wild Child<\/strong>\u00a0figure;\u00a0Wild Child<\/strong>\u00a0begins the game attached to the dial base and while attached gives them\u00a0Flurry<\/em>! If you haven\u2019t used\u00a0Flurry<\/em>\u00a0yet in a turn you can give them a free action to remove\u00a0Wild Child<\/strong>\u00a0and place him adjacent. Also, at the start of your turn, if\u00a0Wild Child<\/strong>\u00a0is within 3 squares of\u00a0Sabretooth<\/strong>, you can reattach him to the base for free.\u00a0Wild Child<\/strong>\u00a0himself is one scrappy kid with the classic combination of\u00a0Charge<\/em>,\u00a0Blades\/Claws\/Fangs<\/em>,\u00a0Combat Reflexes<\/em>, and\u00a0Exploit Weakness<\/em>. This effectively gives you another attacker and harassment piece and gives\u00a0Sabretooth and Wild Child\u00a0<\/strong>some extra reach if you need to get to a piece the opponent is hiding away from the fight. So feel free to let the animal loose! Their other trait,\u00a0Healing Factor<\/em>\u00a0gives\u00a0Sabretooth and Wild Child<\/strong>\u00a0another healing option, letting them heal 1 damage when they remove action tokens.<\/p>\n That\u2019s all for today, HeroClix fans!
