Greetings HeroClix fans, and welcome to another exciting preview from the upcoming\u00a0Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles HeroClix\u00a0<\/strong>Set! Today, we\u2019re going to be looking at one of the signature villains from the classic 1980\u2019s cartoon, the talking brain inside an android body, Dimension X invader,\u00a0Krang!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\"Teenage<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

At 170 points,\u00a0Krang<\/strong>\u00a0is an\u00a0Indomitable<\/em>\u00a0android menace, with 8 clicks of life, and a natural range of 5 squares with 1 target. He\u2019s also able to break through defenses without having to utilize\u00a0Perplex<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0Outwit<\/em>\u00a0on each click of life \u2013 meaning\u00a0Krang<\/strong>\u00a0can hit hard and leave a lasting impact on the Turtles and their allies!<\/p>\n

As we look into his dial, we need to start with\u00a0Krang\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0trait,\u00a0Molecular Amplification Chip,\u00a0<\/em>which allows\u00a0Krang<\/strong>\u00a0to be given\u00a0Giant Size<\/em>, as well as modifying all his combat values by +1 until your next turn as a free action. That\u2019s a pretty huge reward \u2013 but it comes with a trade-off, if you choose to activate this power you\u2019ll have to deal\u00a0Krang<\/strong>\u00a01 unavoidable damage at the end of your turn. If you need to go even bigger, you may instead give him\u00a0Colossal Size<\/em>, as well as modifying his combat values by +2 until your next turn as a free action \u2013 however, doing this results in\u00a0Krang<\/strong>\u00a0being dealt 2 unavoidable damage at the end of your turn. Regardless of which you choose, you may only activate one of these powers on your turn.<\/p>\n

From a standard power perspective,\u00a0Krang<\/strong>\u00a0comes loaded, possessing\u00a0Charge, Running Shot, Sidestep, Plasticity, Poison, Impervious, Invulnerability, Toughness,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Probability Control<\/em>. He also has two special powers, the first of which appears on his attack powers, called\u00a0Shapeshifting Hands.\u00a0<\/em>This power states that you may give\u00a0Krang<\/strong>\u00a0a free action to choose a standard attack power, or the\u00a0Flight<\/em>\u00a0ability \u2013 and this power or symbol is yours to utilize until you choose again or lose the power! Finally, on damage is the special power\u00a0IQ of 968 \u2013 Until He Gets Mad.<\/em>\u00a0This power states that\u00a0Krang\u00a0<\/strong>can use both\u00a0Outwit<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Probability Control<\/em>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0and<\/em>, as an added bonus, none of\u00a0Krang\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0powers can be countered by a character on an equal or higher click number!<\/p>\n

Krang<\/strong>, as he should be, is a force of nature, and even with his relatively high cost at 170 points, he still leaves plenty of room for more members of your force to fight the Turtles.
