Dear Dice Masters Fans,<\/p>\n

Since 2014 we\u2019ve been rolling out a ton of dice \u2013 and in past years, we\u2019ve announced which cards (and their dice) would be leaving Modern Age Dice Masters to be left only to Golden Age.<\/p>\n

The year 2019 is a little different though. We\u2019ve expanded the number of ways that people can play constructed Dice Masters:<\/p>\n

Modern Age<\/p>\n

Global Escalation<\/p>\n

10\/10 Format<\/p>\n

With that being said, we wanted to look at the way to provide the smallest possible change to the legal pool for Modern Age with the freshest metagame. We determined the best way to do that would be to leave all current Modern Age for-sale product legal, rotate some promo cards, and ban Yuan-ti Pureblood: Epic Humanoid<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We believe that by removing Yuan-ti Pureblood from the mix, while leaving the other cards, players will get access to interesting pairings and team combos without having to play against one of the most aggressive strategies the game has seen. There are cards from the Batman Gravity Feed that will play well with the cards from the Justice Campaign Box, and a huge number of X-Men teams that players can mix and match between the X-Men First Class Gravity Feed and the X-Men Forever Campaign Box. Strong mechanics like Infiltrate and Range might rise to the top. Existing fan-favorite teams like Villain Control and Mr. Fixit will be more likely to see counterplay from their opponents who don\u2019t need to worry about Yuan-ti Pureblood. Attune teams will lose their strongest asset, but have been consistently gaining options since the mechanic\u2019s inception and may still claim some of the top seats at this year\u2019s Dice Masters National Championships held around the world. The rotation and ban on Yuan-ti Pureblood for Modern Age takes place on May 1st<\/sup> 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
