Greetings HeroClix Retailers and Players,

We are pleased to report progress on the Marvel HeroClix: Deadpool & X-Force collation investigation. We’re sorry for the delay, but each day we gained more insights and we wanted to send a more comprehensive report rather than information that couldn’t be absolutely verified.

We’ve confirmed that much, if not most, of the product was produced as expected with proper mixing.  We are working with distributors to audit for product that is still in transit and correct any product that wasn’t.  This work may delay releases in international territories if we find the audits reveal product needs to be sent from other warehouses to resolve the issue.

The process at the factory that caused the issue has been identified and resolved for future product.  Product in transit will undergo heavy auditing to ensure that the issue seen at some retailers will not be repeated.

On the plus side, future product will likely be better than what was considered historically normal, we’ve taken the time to add additional verification at the factory to prevent a similar issue from occurring.  We do not guarantee collation, it is not possible to guarantee duplicate cases never happen, but we have plans in place to meet or exceed what was the historical average.

We are working with our distributors to implement a plan for retailers that have been severely impacted. We are also working on a plan for consumers that may include setting up regional locations for trades to happen with other consumers and with WizKids staff, the first events that we are considering are Origins and Gen Con with follow up events based on the turnout at these 2 events (if popular we will look to other sites to promote the trading of Deadpool product).  In other words, if you can’t make it to those shows and there is large interest, we have ideas on how to do them in other regions of the country. We are hoping that these events may evolve into a positive ongoing initiative if our fans show interest.

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your support in patience.
